Ladies Ladies......Calm Down!

These are words I say every single day to the WILD CHILD GIRLS living in my house. They are not as cute as this little lady here! Or as prim and proper! I made her last night at the crop using the Ladies Dancing Kit(Bright) from justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet. Which is on Sale now and one of my very most favorite Limited Edition kits ever!

The crop at Craft Fancy was Awesome. I got a bunch of cards done and one layout completed along with a couple other in mid progress and all that in one evening. We did an adorable make and take, shopped, had an amazing dinner(carried in) and we even got prizes. And best of all the case for my Copics was in and I got to put my markers in their new home right away!!! Very exciting! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

It's Friday We Should Party!

That's what the gnomes would do!!!!

So last night was the School play/musical the history of Rock & Roll. It was adorable. Our warm weather ended in a sea of fog later in the evening. Oh well the weekend is here cold or warm it's the weekend.

So this card is using the Kelly's Gnomes in a Boat Trio, Theresa's Banner, and Stormy Waves all from justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet. I colored the images with Copics and added glaze pen to give them some shine! Plus it helped mask off the waves for sponging! They're having a great time! Can't you tell?

Happy Friday! Have a good one!

Some Love!!!!

So it was a Happy Day yesterday all around! I signed up for 3 crops. 1 this Friday night! Woo Hoo immediate gratification! 1 next month all day crop. Can't wait a lot of uninterrupted time. And one 3 day crop over the summer down by my Mom! We are all excited about this one! Then we had scrapping not that I did anything but finish my swap cards and work some more on a layout I started awhile ago but it was nice to have time with the girlfriends.

So this card is all about Love first of all that Robot stamp and the Polka-dot Background(by Savvy Stamps) were part of a little V-day giftie from Dianne. Isn't he cute? Second of all it's covered with polk-a-dot love not just the background stamp but some Bazzill Swiss Dots and BoBunny Double Dots. Thirdly I colored that little guy with my Copic Markers and he turned out way cute! Fourth it's all my current favorite colors and of course matches my IPOD(HA)! And last but not by any means least this is the card I made for DH for V-day on the inside it's full of sapppy blubbering mush but besides that it's cute! The I Love You stamp is Stampin Up again colored with the markers!

Have a great day!

Making Things!!!

I know I've been MIA but I have been being creative. I have tons of things I've been working on in the last few weeks now I just have to get the photos posted! These are Goodie Bags I made using the Stampin Up Big Shot Penant Die Cut. The top green one was for a swap. Everything on it is Stampin Up except the sewing machine stitching. But this is necessary to strengthen the bag so it holds a lot of stuff. The stamping is hard to see I versamarked snowflakes all over the bag. Plus the snowflakes along the edge are completely glittered which doesn't show in the photo.

These 2 are a couple of the ones I made for the Teachers at school for their little Valentine gifties. There are cello bags with assorted candies in there.
Now I'm on a cleaning and organizing frenzy. I really have cleaned out my area and my scraps and put them all in a central place and I started created punch/die templates for quick and easy reference tools while I'm working. I'll share those later as well! Hope you have a great day!

Oh MY....

I've been gone a long time!!!! Who knew? Time flies when your having fun I guess. We've just been busy busy with the kids and their things and my things and trying to squeeze in workout time and teaching time and scrapping time and and and. We had a wonderful weekend though. I was room mom for Abbi's party on Friday which was fun then Dave took the girlies to the Daddy Daughter dance on Friday. I had to do their hair up! They were so cute. Dave brought them corsages and everything! Dianne came over and we had dinner and played trying to work a little. Saturday I had a pleasant day out and about with Randi and then home to a picnic and family movie night. And yesterday was our big day out on the boat we had reservations at one of our favorite restaurants and we got the table on the boat which is completely private(well it's in the lobby but once your inside it's private) it's floating inside the building. The girls went with us and had a wonderful time. They were loved going out on the deck looking at the fish in the little pond we were floating in. It was a lot of fun!

So I have been scrapping a lot lately well a lot for me. I did about 3 layouts last week and finished up a couple of more that were just missing something. This one I had started before and finished up. I love love this paper it's Scenic Route and adorable! The pics are dark but I was inside the Studio at school and didn't want to mess too much with their lighting so no flash but you get the idea! Emily is such a cute little newscaster giving the morning announcements! She loved reading from the teleprompter.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and your enjoying your Presidents Day!

Wednesday my favorite Day!

Today is a good day! It's sunny(not warm but sunny) it's quiet and it's Wednesday! Woo Hoo! Tonight I have scrapping that's always a good thing.

So this week my car is in the shop yet again. This is the 3rd time in the last 2 months. It's crazy and I'm losing patience with the Toyota Dealer. At least this time they gave us a very nice loaner car. Well it's a van the same as I have but obviously newer which isn't hard mine is 9 years old. It has a TV/DVD player. OMG the kids are nuts! Every morning they get the video in and hit play I fast forward to where they left off and then we're at school. They are literally in the car for 5 minutes unless the weather is bad. So we've been doing Scooby Doo Monsters Unleashed for the last 2 days. We're just to the part they get stuck in the Mansion and I pushed ff through a bunch of other stuff. At this rate it will take them a month or they'll only see a 1/4 of the movie. OOOH and Abbi informed me I couldn't "mess up this car" like I have mine. I asked what she meant and she said "you know the floor up there by where you sit! " We laughed! The floor by here is always littered with something, mine is just wear and tear on the carpet. And hers is the door that gets stuck shut in the summer because something sticky leaked onto the seal. I have to remember to clean it with hot water before the weather gets warm. Anyhoo everyone is enjoying the nice new clean car while we have it.

So here's another Valentine. The image is a stamp from an image swap we did at our Copic Marker Club last month. I was silly and didn't write down the manufacturer.(Thanks Laura I now know the stamp is American Art Stamps Paper Hearts by Karen Stopler) But she/he(we were debating this) is very cute. I colored it with Copics of course. The paper is some old Theresa Collins from Junkitz. Heart Punch Fiskars. Hugs stamp Stampin Up. Ribbon Heidi Swapp. Embossing plate Cuttlebug. Hope you have a great day thanks for stopping by!

I HEART February

Well all except the Weather. It's frigid here, yet again. I spend a lot of time under my red fluffy blanket trying to stay warm! But this is the month of Love and we're already on day 2 and yes winter will go on and on and on, for at least 6 more weeks. But that's normal! Does the Groundhog ever not see his shadow?

So Laura posted a Sweet Valentine Challenge over at Paper Craft Planet and here is my card for it. I love the glittered hearts coming out of the mixing bowl. They were fun to do. All stamps are justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet. Check under Home Ec there are lots of cool things there! I also used some hear punches and a border punch. SU paper, chalk ink and stickles.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Are You Ready for Some Football?

It's another Football Cheer weekend for us. Yesterday was our Sports Banquet where the players & cheerleaders were presented with their trophies and awards. We had a lot of fun and in 2 months since our seasons ended those kids have grown up so fast! It's amazing! Plus all the girls were all dressed up they were so cute!

Today of course is the Super Bowl. Getting ready to start my food and get things ready for our little party later on today. We're also doing Christmas with the Swanson's today. Both family's have been so busy we haven't had time to get together. Today is the perfect excuse! Plus I get to make my ribs in the crock pot which we all love and are perfect for a party!

Oh and the card is one I made for my fellow coaches, the teen coaches and the person in charge of the program. They each got the thank you card with a red rose. The Cheerleader stamp is a Stampabilities stamp, the die cut is Sizzix and the Alpha stamps are Stamp Craft. Inside the Thanks sentiment is Hero Arts but I didn't take a pick of that it's just plain old thanks.

Have a great day!
