SNOW - Scrappy Saturday

Here is a layout I did with a challenge Dianne and I used to get us moving once again.  We scraplifted a YouTuber we recently discovered Emilee's Paper Caper.  We had a good time picking out a layout to scraplift and then recreating it.  Even though Emilee did  her layout as a double page spread it was easy to convert to a single page spread since I only had 2 photos.  We have been having fun watching YouTube scrappers lately and it's fun to take inspiration from them to scrap.  Sometimes you just need a jumping off point to begin the page.

I got to use my WRMK Punch board to create the fishtail banners on the left side with a bunch of scraps.  The hanging banner at the top also used scraps.  I have a lot of this Simple Stories line from years ago it really works well for anything and I'm getting to use up my older stash.

Thank you so much for having a look today off to pull a few quick kits I made up and do some more speedy scrapping.

Stash Scrapping Results

Hello Hello remember this from a couple of weeks ago?  The little lama issued a challenge and then I picked some supplies to meet that challenge.
I've been totally remiss in updating you with what I did with that product and I finished it later that same evening....
It's hard to see but those stubs and such are in a pale yellow vellum envelope created with my WRMK punch board.  I love how it turned out.  I used tons of old supplies like my hoarded Lil Davis letters and WRMK eyelets.  Did you know I got rid of all my eyelet tools when I got my Crop A Dile and well I never got a long reach one so I used a Phillips head screw driving to set the brads because I was determined to finish this layout!  So not neat on the back but I got it done!

I do love this photo from Fathers's Day 2017 since I completed this before Father's Day 2018.  It's of Dave and Abbi joking and playing at the Lucky Monk where we went for dinner.

I have completed a couple more layouts since then so I will share some more layouts in a bit.

Thank you for stopping by coming back soon!

This is a fabulous way to jump start your creativity.  Just grab you scrap basket or box and pick out 2 pieces of paper and one die cut(this one is Cheery Lynn).  You can pick one stamp set, one tool and one embellishment.   Here I chose a greeting set from MFT, a corner rounder and pearls.

Next time your in a rut just grab a card base and a few scraps, set your timer for 10minutes and make something quick.  You'll fee accomplished and have a card to show for it.

Thank you for stopping by today hope your having a wonderful weekend.

Lawnscaping Challenge #51 - Together

This weeks inspiration was is:

I had fun using the Love n' Breakfast  set by Lawn Fawn.   I colored the images with Copic.  I cut them out and layered and popped them up with foam tape.   The greeting is a combination of 2 in the set, which I cut apart to use them.  Other items used:  Patterned Paper - BoBunny Double Dots, Washi Tape - Recollections, Jute - Canvas Corp., Spellbinders Labels 2,  Heart Punches and Border Punch - Fiskars, Other  Ink - Chalk and my WRMK Corner Chomper.  Be sure to check out all of the other amazing projects over at the Lawnscaping Blog.

It's Tuesday and getting warmer again.  The kids are sad the snow is melting all their work on forts in the yard has gone in vain with the rain yesterday and the warmer weather.  They may still get another chance so no worries.  Here in Chicago anything is possible.  Off to work in a bit.  Can't wait to see what new has come in.  Hope you all have a great day!  Thank You for stopping by!
