I love Alice!

I have lots of Alice stamps this is one of my favorite!  I could sit and color her forever!  I will have to share some other Alice Images I have leading up to the movie.  Oooh and I got the coolest shirts as well.  The girls and I are going to take Dianne to see this!  We can't wait it's all they can talk about well except Abbi's Bday since it comes out the same week.

Nothing truely exciting happening today I drove to work through the Giant Glittery Snow Flakes today.  They didn't last long but even one of the guys at Starbucks this morning looked out the window and said Oooh Pretty!  It really was the road was speckled white, the trees are covered in snow it just set the tone for the day.  Then I got in the store and changed the front table to Spring!  Do you think Mother Nature will get the hint?

Last night I attended the Reflections Showcase for our district with our schools principal.  She and I were so proud to have kids advance on to state and were beyond thrilled when one of our kids made it to Nationals for her Dance Performance.  A very exciting evening in all.  Can't wait to put up the display in the school we won't see all the stuff that advanced on for awhile though.  All the kids were thrilled to get their certificates and be recognized though.

So not bad for a Tuesday!  Gotta work on some spring samples tonight and get in the spirit!  What is your favorite Springtime Music.  I'm in need of some new working music!  Dianne we know yours is Wicked there has to be something else!  HA

Have a great week!

Happy Happy Monday!

It was a busy weekend.   Kinda glad it's Monday well except for the Monday part and the snowing as usual part!  HA  The kids had a great time with their cousins.  Dave and I went to the Lucky Monk for dinner(yummy).  Before that I got a mini trip to Blick to pick up a couple of markers I wanted badly.  Then Sunday AM we picked the kids up at church and got to watch the Puppet Team perform.   Add in a dash of the Olympics and some serious game time and everyone was happy!

Nothing exciting here today.   Just working more on the shop.  Here are some new mini note cards added to the store this week.   Who wouldn't have a Happy Birthday with one of these?

Teaching All Day!

It made it above 40 degrees yesterday!  How wonderful!  The sun was shining the snow was melting....briefly!  Then this morning cold and snowy again with the promise of more to come.  I almost didn't wear a coat out yesterday.  Today not so lucky!   Oh well I'm indoors all day anyway.

Today is a teaching day.  Techniques and Hero Arts Cards.  Fun Fun stuff!  The kiddos are heading over to their cousins for a sleepover tonight and DH and I are going to watch the Netflix movie we've had forever!    I can't wait it has Harry Connick in it!  Love love love him!

The above card was made with Le Romantique by Graphic 45. I adore the pearls from My Beloved.  Just Beautiful!  I added Gold Leaf Pen and Spica Glitters to the Butterfly from Sweetheart of Mine but it's hard to see in this photo!

Hope your having a great Weekend so far!

MMMM Yummy!

I am planning our Menu for the weekend it's making me hungry!    Tonight I'm going to make a wonderful spinich lasagna for a quiet family dinner!   We'll  get all geared up for our busy weekend!

Jump Rope for Heart is going on this week!  The kids are super excited about it!  Abbi knows exactly what she's wearing, a Jump Rope for Heart T-Shirt she picked out of her drawer and had it laid out ready to go yesterday!   She's never been so ready for gym class.

Not much else going on here cleaning and errands. BORING but it's still wonderful and totally amazing outside so warm!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Back On Track!

New Stuff in the Etsy Shop This week.  My Mom totally got me remotivated to add new things to my shop.  After I talked with her, I sat down and created lots of cute/fun/new things!  Love these matching piece the Cherry Mini Note Cards and Hang Tags.  Cute cute cute.
It was nice having a day to myself yesterday to create and take pictures, edit and upload.    Abbi was so excited to go back to school this yesterday she was up at the crack of dawn reading her AR books to an apparently sleeping Emily.  Which did not make Em happy to say the least!  Abs claims she didn't realize it was bothersome to be read to while you are sleeping?  She of course sleeps so hard she wouldn't know anyone was reading to her!
Hope everyone is having a FANTASTIC Week!

AHHH Silence

Ok so today it's quiet here finally!  The kids have gone back to school!  Phew!  I have time to work on samples for tonights meeting and just to be in a quiet house.  It's my first time alone in weeks!   I'm so excited.  I'm caught up with all my orders shipped out and I just get time to play!  I'm making roses all day today.  I have tons of varieties of flowers I can't decide where to begin.   No scrapping tonight but I am planning a bunch of challenges for next week.  If your following the Schnockers blog look for info!

The card above is something I designed or a Private Party at the store.  I love how feminine it is yet not overly so!

The card above is again from my Technique class this month and very sparkley but you can't see the shimmers bounce off the light in the photos!  BUMMER!

I have a new Air Compressor/airbrush system, a new bottle of wine and Dave and I are going to watch a movie.  Plus I got Milano cookies as well.  What more could a girl ask for?  I'm going to airbrush everything in site!  HA  Maybe I shouldn't drink all of the wine?

Sad Day

Well I guess the sad day was yesterday but we were all really busy.  Which makes this sadder.  But Daisy has passed away.  She was our last Hamster.  Her sister passed a couple of months ago.  She was severly depressed after that not wanting to come out of her little strawberry and in the end just digging a hole in her bedding and living in it right under the water bottle.  I felt terrible for her.  But I'm not sure there was much we could do for her.  She was really the sweetest Hamster.  She loved to be held!  She will be missed by everyone.  No more live pets for a little while though.  Zuzu pets, little petshop pets, stuffed pets(no no stuffed pets) you get the idea though.  No more sad children that way.

Another card for my Technique Class above.
Supplies: Cardstock Bazzill, Embossing Template Spellbinders, Punches Marvy, Stamp Schlosser Designs, Twine, Distress Ink.

Valentine Party Day - Quick Post

Yippy!  The kids are thrilled!  Abbi is better we're done with all of their Valentines.   Made them from 3 sheets of Sassafrass paper and a bunch of cardstock.   Along with baggies and a stapler.    They are perfect for girls and boys that's what I love.  So the kids are off to school and I'm finishing up before the parties this afternoon.  I have to dip at least 40 chocolate covered strawberries and do a little Valentine shopping.   Then it's off to school to Limbo!   Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

It's Almost Here

Valentines Day that is.  Abbi was still home sick today came home after an hour yesterday, but no fever on Thursday so hopefully she'll make her Valentine Party tomorrow.  Hopefully I'll make Emily's party since I'm room Mom there.

CARS tonight got all my swap cards done finally I'll share those in a couple of days.  The card above is from my Technique Class.  You can't really see in the photo how much we changed that lace paper or how much it shimmers.  But it's very cool!

Supplies:  Cardstock Bazzill, Lace Paper KI, Patterned Paper Sweetwater, Ribbon A Muse,  Maya Mist & Walnut Ink.

Snow Snow Snow Snow - BAM Earthquake

It snowed all day yesterday, all night last night and then we apparently had an Earthquake way early this morning.  I remember waking up trying to figure out why the wall was shaking and it was silent outside there weren't any snow plows going to make that happen?  It stopped I gave up and went back to sleep.

So this morning the girls were loving the snow.  It is crisp, sunny and beautiful outside.  All white and sparkley.  No one has run through the yards to make it all messy the plows are working their way down so there isn't a lot of muck in it!  Plus they found it very amusing they could wear their PJ's out in the snow today since it was Pajama Spirit Day at school!  Hopefully they won't freeze too much at recess.  Ok little side comment about Abbi - Shhhhh don't tell her I talked about this.  Today is messy art day and we were instructed to send her in old clothes or a smock or something to cover her good clothes.  So Dave went through his closet and found an old golf shirt he never liked and gave it to her.  I kid  you not that child wore it to bed, it hangs down past her knees, over her pajamas.  She has to button it all the way up to keep it on.  Then she got up this morning and changed into the PJ's she was wearing to school and put it back on over these PJ's.  I told her she could fold it and put it in her bag but she said she was pretending it was a nightgown.   She looked so cute!  No memory card in my camera and we had to run out the door.  BUMMER

So the mini note card above is from a set I put in  my shop.  The papers are Making Memories, Fleur de Lis is EK Success, Other stamps and punches are Stampin Up.  Just a little project to step away from Valentines for the day!  Needed a break from pink for a moment!

Ewww Snow

Ok it's after Groundhogs Day it's official I'm over winter!  So today it's snowing yet again, not that it's bad we barely have anything.  The kids are dissappointed they didn't have a snow day after all the news coverage.  OK enough whining about the weather!

So today I'm working on card kits for 10 ladies tonight,  cleaning and organizing more in my room and  I also bought 2 Greeting Farm stamps yesterday, when they came into the store, that I really want to play with.   But we'll see how much I get done.

Above is a photo of one of our Lolli Gardens for the Valentine event a couple of weeks ago.  I think they turned out great Dianne and Melissa totally Rocked these and all of the customers adored them.

Supplies:  Cardstock A Muse & Bazzill, Patterned Paper A Muse, Making Memories, Little Yellow Bicycle, Stamps Hero Arts, Punches Marvy, Fiskars & EK Success, Lollipops  Charms, Floral Craft Foam, Tacky Glue

Love is in the Air

It's finally bright and sunny here!  Thank  goodness.  The kids are looking forward to their parties this Friday and I am looking forward to a quiet weekend of catching up more.

I began cleaning my scrap room yesterday  and actually getting rid of some trays and such that were no longer helping me organize but just clutter the room it's not too bad.  I still have to work on the cabinets and unmounting some stamps but it's looking positive.  Maybe I'll get my dining room back?

So all I have today is the quick banner I made for the store event a couple of weeks ago.  It's cute but missing something?  I need to fix it but I'm a little at a loss I think I'm Valentined out?  Is that possible?
Supplies, Cardstock Bazzill, Glitter Paper American Crafts, Dies Spellbinders, Punches Marvy, Letters were cut with Cricut Storybook Font and lastly ribbon is American Crafts with teeny tiny hearts!

Friday Fun

The Valentines just keep coming.  I love them but I'm excited to start working on something not red(I never thought I would say those words!).   I have other projects I'm working on to share.  A bunch more quick cards coming up next week.  This is one of the cards for my Copic 101 class this Saturday.

Anyway this card was super simple but oh so cute.  I stamped the Hero Art Lady Bugs on craft and colored them with Copics.  Then I created the little hearts witht he marker as well.  I grabbed my latest go to punch the Fiskars Tag Corner. Love love that thing makes perfect tags everytime and in NO Time FLAT.  The ribbon, cardstock and polkadot papers are A Muse.

Supplies:  Cardstock A Muse & Bazzill, Stamps Hero Arts, Copic R35, Multiliner 0.2, Ink Momento, Patterned Paper & Ribbon A Muse

Meltdown Moments

Having a hard time getting going this morning!   Yesterday was a good day for everyone.  Or so I thought.  We were dropping like flies though.  Em was first she broke down after school and cried she was tired.  Those late nights up chatting with your sister will do it to you every time girlies.  Abbi finally had hers after dinner but she cries "I'm Not Tired!".  This is her standard line when she's exhausted.  They so wanted to hang out with each other after going to bed chatting again last night.  But I think Emily fell asleep pretty quick.  Abbi on the other hand stayed up talking to herself(her dolls) for awhile.  Aunt Paula just laughed she knows all about the girly wackiness!

This shaker card is from our class coming up on Saturday!  The hearts are punched with tin foil.  That was as close as I could get to a Kiss wrapper without actually bringing the chocolate into my house.  Because we all know what happens when it's in the house!

Supplies:  Cardstock Bazzill & Bazzill Bling, Patterned Paper Making Memories, Dies Spellbinders &  Sizzix, Stamps Hero Arts, Punch Fiskars, Markers Copic, Shaker Impression Obsession, Sticker Stampendous.

Copic Love

So last week I was lucky enough to take the Copic Certification Class in CA.  Oh What fun we learned so much!  I've always loved my markers now I just love them even more.  I've had to stop myself from coloring every image in every project.  Anyway this project is on of the projects for our first Copic 101 class on Saturday.  Love this Memory Box stamp!  Wait till you see it in blue and green it's lovely!

So yesterday was a stellar day.  Emily got her math test back B+ she's starting to relax at school.  Today she had to be in early to be on the Announcements which are on TV's in all the classrooms, she was excited to be chosen.  Abbi didn't get any homework because of some computer error she was thrilled.  And Mommy maded loaded baked potatos for dinner everyone was happy, except when Daddy threw out the leftover bacon while clearing the table.  Who does that?  Em was not looking all over!

Hope everyone has an Awesome Wednesday I know I plan to!

Soft & Pretty

IMG_2651
That's what it's like when you look out the window.  Soft falling snow, crisp white covered ground.  Then you get in the car and drive and WEEEEEEEEEE it's slick!  It's just supposed to snow a little maybe a couple of inches but still very slippery.  And the traffic at school was crazy today.  People trying to vote people trying to drop off their kids it was nutty!  Happy to be here warming up!  The kids are just excited for recess.  Fresh snow and all!

So the card above is for the Flowersoft Class this week   Love the way the Mulberry paper looks with this image and the Flowersoft!  Pretty Pretty!  I have made a bunch of cards with vintage images and Flowersoft and I used up some of my stash of mulberry paper gotta love that.   I just bought some of the Ultra Fine I can't wait to play around with it!  We have very little of the new colors in the store they almost sold out the day after they arrived!  EEEK

OK gotta get ready for work I should leave a little earlier with the roads the way they are.  Have a great day!

Sweet Donuts!

Today and tonight are quick card classes.  I'm in between right now!  Fun Fun Fun!  Not to bad for a Monday I've gotten lots done today!   Nothing exciting to report.  No one wants to hear how much laundry I'm doing.

To that end I'm sharing another card from my Shaker class this Wednesday.  This one is round  with donuts and sprinkles inside!  Emily was funny when I made this she was appalled I was putting actual sprinkles in it!  I'm not sure if it's because I put food on my card or I took some of her sprinkles for ice cream?  These cards are fun to make and super simple with these Impression Obsession shakers.  Totally self adhesive and ready to roll!

Supplies Cardsotck Bazzill & Neenah, Stamps Hero Arts & Craft Secrets, Die Cuts Spellbinders, Pattern Paper Heidi Grace, Shaker Impression Obsession, Copic Markers, Momento Ink, Sprinkles, Silk Ribbon
