Homemade Puppy Treats

So today I created some soft homemade puppy treats for the girlies.  I was looking to make something a little softer for Vienna to eat since she is a senior dog and has a hard time chewing.

These were pretty easy I used a jar of baby food and cream of wheat they turned out okay and the puppies love them.

Gingerbread House - Memory Box/Poppy Stamps Blog Hop

Welcome to the Memory Box/Poppy Stamps Blog Hop - Holiday Gift Tags or Wrappers Dec 2-Dec 4

I've created this adorable little Gingerbread House tag from the Cute Cottage and Frosted Roof and Ledges dies by PoppyStamps.  Then I added accessories like the Swirled Lollipops, Goodie Gum Drops, Mini Holly Leaves and Christmas Lights Set dies by Memory Box Stamps.

I think it turned out cute with smoke out of the chimney and the roof and ledges frosted up with Flowersoft.  The windows have a bit of glitter in them and the gum drops are sugared.  Inside the door is where I will write my message.

This will be an adorable tag on my Gingerbread Cookie plates to give as gifts for the Holidays.  I have included the Gingerbread Cookie Recipe Below if you would like to try it out this Holiday Season.

Now lets get to the Hopping so you can see more AMAZING creations next stop is Teo  Ilona's Blog the list is also below to follow along.

Efforts from Baking

All of the Zucchini Bread and muffins, from my giant farmers market zucchini,  minus a loaf and anything the kids have been eating all day.  I totally ran out of pans so I started making odd shaped breads.   Oh well still tastes the same.  I froze 2 more cups of shredded Zucchini I couldn't dirty anymore dishes.

Recipe is as follows I think it's call Hoosier Zucchini Bread which is appropriate for me:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups grated zucchini
1 cup chopped walnuts(the kids don't like these so I don't add them)

Grease  two 8 x 4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well. Stir in zucchini  until well combined.  Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.
For muffins bake 25min.

Party

Had a party for Emily's Birthday.  We did a little mini candy bar for favors.   Dianne and I decorated Piggies for the event.  The piggies on sticks are oreos I think we could have improved this process but we did it in the middle of the night which is always fun.  The cupcakes are covered in fondant piggies.  Fun Fun!

Reeses Cupcakes with a peanut butter cup in the bottom of the cupcake.  Devils Food Cake and Peanut Butter Frosting.
I was kind of winging it on the frosting I think I could make it more peanut buttery in the future.   YUMMY Though.

Happy Early Birthday Paula

Party Party Party

Today was Abbi's Family Party!  We had a great time even if the cake balls didn't turn out exactly like I had envisioned nor did the tower cake but it was fun and yummy none the less.  Dave took the girls to the store and Abbi picked out a cool Dragonfly balloon.  We served Chicken Patties on a bun, it is what she requested and her favorite food recently.  She had fun running around and playing with her cousins and sisters.   Here are a few snapshots.
