Weekend Stuff

Working on this layout. It has some

technical difficulties. Need to break out the sewing maching. That'll fix it!

Other than that summer is going slow around here trying to keep the kiddos entertainted! ARGHHHH!

Summer Fun

Summer is really here. The kids are hanging out and making up things to do. Yesterday with Olivia they played a lot of dress up using Dance costumes they created a band and rehearsed and rehearsed last night until everyone at the dining room table that was scrapping new the words when they came to perform for us.

Today they are relaxing and doing window cling things. This is what they have completed so far. I got this kit last summer at Blicks and they adore it.

Things have suddenly calmed down. Dave is almost recovered from his last surgery. The staples are out and the tape will come off in a couple of days. The kids have nothing but crafting and reading to do. I'm working on my stuff but that can fit in and around everyone else's schedule.

I am doing the Make and Take Friday and Saturday over at Craft Fancy. Think Cupcakes! Plus there are going to be BIG SALE tables out you won't want to miss if you have a chance to stop by and check it out do and create a little something with me!

Merry Christmas

Christmas in July that is! The celebration has begun over at ETSY and runs from the 8th thru the 22nd. Lots of stores are participating you can just go to a category you are interested in and search Christmas In July and tons of things will come up with tons of different types of deals going on!

So today was a long long day after the kiddos and their cousin didn't go to bed last night until almost 2am. They had a fun sleepover though! I had a rough time staying awake all day! Dave had some car trouble and I had to drag all the girlies to his office. After he started looking though turns out the connector to the battery came lose very very odd. No big deal just very strange. At least it was figured out and we got out of the house since all it did was rain all day here.

Some Pics and Such

Ok a recap of our weekend. The 4th it rained. I grilled in the rain the kids couldn't really play outside, it was a bummer. But it cleared up by the end of the day so we went to see the fireworks they were great. The mosquitoes not so much! Sunday the girls had a friend over and they hung out in the pool most of the day oooh and they washed my car well as good as a 9yr old and a 6yr old can.

Yesterday we started walking to practice for our walk-a-thon we're doing in Oct. We went about a 1.75 miles maybe a little more. It was very pleasant. Then we spent the rest of the day at the pool in the bright sunshine with Gina and the girls! It was fun!

Today is study and dance day in our house. Hopefully we'll get outside to our backyard pool for a bit and a little walking in in the afternoon. It's supposed to be cooler than yesterday!

These pics our from our outing to the racetrack. I love being at the picnic tables by the rails! We're so close to the horses. The kids loved the pony rides and petting zoo! July Has Begun

Things are quieting down and the girls are really enjoying summer. Today they had a lemonade stand with the kids across the street. As I got ready for our 4th Cookout tomorrow. We're planning on having family over and hanging out then heading over to the fireworks later in the evening! Trying to avoid the parade as it's early in the morning! Maybe the girls won't notice we aren't going.

Here are a couple of Odd Bird Planet cards. The first one features some of the stamps from the July Special Deal OMG you don't want to miss this one it's super cute! Don't you just love her? The second card is the July sketch Love the lollipop gnome grilies! They are too stinkin cute and perfect for all of the girl birthday parties we have to go to here! Lots of stickles and glitter on this card!!!
