So it seems my Creative Block is gone. I finished 3 pages yesterday with the kids running around me. Granted I started 2 of them a few weeks ago and the other Wed night but I finished them all the way yesterday they were hanging over my head.
Today I am cleaning since I did little yesterday. And how appropriate is this:
I am free of clutter.
I truly am spiritually inspired.
I am safe and secure in my rest.
I am open and receptive to guidance.
And so it is!
So besides cleaning today I've got big plans. I'm going to prepare lunch for the kiddos in a bit then put them in the tub right before a nap let them splash it out. They are sandy and sticky, ewwwww. While their napping I'm going to pack for the Schnockered Scrappers Soirree tonight and work on another layout I started this morning. Then I can go back to cleaning and such later. Can't wait to get out of the house for a little bit tonight with my friends. I'm making Beniegts for the fried food fest we're doing. Gotta make my red hot syrup to dip them in. YUM! Paula got Marc a deep fryer for xmas so we're taking advantage of that and frying our snacks tonight. I'm sure I'll have to eat salad for the next 2 weeks to make up for it but I'm good with that! Dianne is bringing mac and cheese to fry and Jenn is bringing snickers. We're tasting all kinds of new things tonight! Can't wait must take my camera I could do a cool fried food layout. My cholesterol is going up just thinking about it! Good think we only do this once a month!

Another source of inspriation tonight is the latest issue of Fitness magazine not only am I getting inspired by the magazine to attempt to become fit but their current page layout is inspring I must try it on a layout in my scrapbook! How cool is that! More on my soon to be fit self later.
Now to use my affirmations and the magazine and really get to work on myself and my home! My family well they are perfect, well I'm sure not perfect but at the moment they are pretty darn good!
I'm a proud Mama tonight Emily has been saying for the last week and a half she wanted to get the game ball at her next game. I tried to explain best I could that she would have to work hard for it. Pay attention, cheer her teamates on, run fast hit hard and catch the ball etc. So tonight I sent her off to T-ball and stayed home, I almost drove over to the field. She came home so excited she got theGAME BALL. She was thrilled I was thrilled for her. I took her pic with the ball and we will do a special layout of her hard work. She was cute when I put her to bed tonight and told her yet again how proud I was of her she did such a good job. She said but mommy you weren't at the game so I told her how proud I was of her for setting a goal and following through she made up her mind she wanted that ball and she earned it. That's my girl! She loves it when I say that! Too CUTE!
Dancers Dancing!!!!
All the dancers danced so GREAT the recital was a success. Emily did wonderful at the dress rehersal wanted to stay to watch the big girls she was really in her element. She was great in front of a packed auditorium on Sat. for the actual show. She was a little confused and wanted to watch the big girls again. We had to explain that the last preformance with everyone on the stage together big kids and little kids was it the end of the show. She was sad until I reminded her she would be getting a DVD of it and be able to watch herself on TV. She's happy! She chose Bakers Square for dinner and ate a ton of food. When we got home she and I went and shopped for some flowers the lawn guys finished cleaning up the backyard and mulching so we can plant anything anywhere now!
We planted some plants then it was baths and bed for the girls! Dave and I are just happy it all went smoothly and she was so happy and calm about it all! She can't wait to do it again next year! I'm happy she found an activity she loves!
Sunday I went to HD on what had to be thier busiest day of the year it was crazy but I watned some more plants for the yard and we needed more wire stuff for the weed eater thingy. Oh well it wasn't all that bad once I got in line however I will remember that next year. Came home and planted more plants Em came home from Haley's to help. I made taco's for dinner and we cut into the cake Emily chose to celebrate her successful week of Graduation and Dance Recital! It was an adorable ladybug cake.
Monday was ok but terribly chilly after the 80 degrees we had Sunday. The girls really enjoyed each other yesterday and I did laundry and stuff. Later we went to the post office to mail off one of my swaps. And then back home for more laundry and cleaning. I got nothing done over the weekend so I have to catch up! Later we went out and watered the plants making sure to give Em's pumpkin lots of extra water! It's a very thirsty plant!

Content!
Today I'm content! The kids have been awesome. I got a shower in before they got up which is almost unheard of! Very nice to take my time and not worry about what's going on in the house. The girls had a fun playtime bath then we went for haircuts! Abbi cried but she looks oh so cute. Emily of course loved being pampered and talked to her stylist the entire time, he was very good with her.
Em had her pizza party at school only one day left! YIKES! This afternoon we have to run all over 5:30 dance pics full dress and makeup, 6pm baseball for which we will have to remove makeup some time on the way. Of course I'm still washing the uniform so we'll probably get rained out! LOL
But other than the running it's been a good week. Emily is enjoying her new friend Caroline to bad they won't be in the same school next year eventually in middle school though. We went to Geoffrey's after school yesterday and they played hard on the trampoline then just running around! The birthday treats seemed to be a hit at school! They really were easy! Love the precut just stamp me items.

Spring is Here? More whining!
We had a very nice Mon except for the odd Temps. Warm/cold/warm/sunny/cool. It is mid May I know but come on already. I still don't feel safe putting young plants outside. Oh well soon enough it will be 90 and humid.
Em was too cute yesterday I was explaining to her she had a very busy week this week and when Mommy and Daddy asked her to rest we really needed her to rest since we would be so busy. She told me she would help us! LOL then I had to explain that no she was the only one in the family that was busy this week and that we would be helping her. She pondered that for awhile it seemed! Poor kid Wed she has to be at dance pics and a baseball game after her end of school party. Thur she as to be at dance practice and graduation luckily they are on the same floor in the same building so we can change and go from one to the other. Fri she has dress rehersal and Sat she has a game and the dance recital. YIKES she's 4 and I don't really sign her up for much compared to most kids. It's just this week. Today we are celebrating her birthday at school so I was up all night making the party favor things. They are cute I'll take a pic and post it in a bit.
Today I'm making the cards for the Teachers gifts we're all going in on. I'm also making the teachers each a set of monogramed cards from us. I also have to start my 6x6 fairy swap and get that going hopefully finish it by Thursday. Maybe get the wedding card swap going as well I can post them at the same time. Got a puzzle piece from Debi Boring this week for her Sally Jean puzzle can't wait to get going on that. Have to prime the piece and let it dry.
We're still going forward with this scrappers retreat I guess. We'll see I'm only going if Dianne and Jen can go that weekend. Ana can't go(she's in Panama) and Renee hasn't said anything so I'm not sure. It's already been pointed out to me that I'm an expendable member of the group by others so I'm still not sure I want to go. Found out today that another SU demo was invited which would make it interesting I suppose but it doesn't sound to relaxing for me. I would like to go and relax and enjoy myself. Anyway I cancelled scrapping this week which really was best we are way busy and my attitude towards it sucks right now. It sucks since I've had most of this group of ladies coming to my house for almorst 4 years now with a few changes of cast here and there but for the last 3 years we've scrapped together every Wed. I see it coming to an end now and I'm sad. Why can't everyone just play nice? I suppose I can reincarnate it somehow down the line but we'll see. We went through this shake up about 3 years ago and it still went on. It's just not fun for me anymore I have to constantly be on my toes protecting my intrests in my own home seems kinda crazy. It's really uncomfortable for me.
OK enough wallowing in it. I can't change peoples rudeness I can only change the way I react to it I know! I have lots to do and I need to get started and get off this darn pc!

Inspired To Work
II was totally inspired by moon lemming at the get crafty website">http://getcrafty.com/blogs.php?user=moon_lemming moon lemming at the get crafty website. Not sure how to label the link. Anyway she was saying how she has so many supplies for so many projects she should just put them on strips of paper in a jar and complete them at random. I love this idea so I'm going to start today typing up my half done/wanna be started/wanna be done projects lying about my studio and come on my entire house! Lets be real! I'll post the jar when I finish it today! This is my goal!
So Tired
Wow I had a great time last night at Dianne's scrapping and eating! I finished a couple of layouts worked further on a couple and started one new one. Not bad considering I drug what seemed like my entire stash over there. 4 bags later. I used very little of what I brought and used her stuff(MUCH COOLER!). Oh well live and learn I suppose. Oh she had yummy yummy Alloette(sp?) cilantro lime cheese spread. Must get some of this very tastey! And she made an amazing Apple pie I'm telling you I would pay to scrap there, A LOT OF MONEY!
When I was leaving oh so late lastnight /early this morning the sky was amazing. It looked very much like what I imagine the Northern Lights looking like minus all the colors. Dave of course burst my bubble when I drug him outside saying yeah their clouds so. LOL I was so enjoying the show the clouds were putting on in the pitch black!
I have to toot Em's horn. She ate so well yesterday she loves Salmon so much and I made it for dinner she ate all of hers and some of Abbi's I was so impressed. Thank goodness she sometimes eats well. Or I would lose it!

The Weekend is Here
Sat is here! Woo Hoo! Had camp last night. It was ok only 3 attendee's but the projects were cute. I had to cut back a little to make up for my overexpenditure on last months camp. I don't like itemizing how much it costs me to do it's not fun knowing I'm in the red every other month. LOL oh well next month will be awesome for the retirement party I'm throwing for stamp sets going away. Hopefully I'll have some new samples from the new stuff coming out as well.
Sat camp was cancelled since I didn't realize Em's game was at 10AM instead of noon as usual. It's ok everyone that was coming is either on our team or had more baseball to go to and we can do it during school next week.
T-ball went well. Em played ok she was having a hard time running with that batting helmet but other than that she had fun! Dave went and met with a recuiter at Starbucks in Sch. He came just in time to see Em's last up at bat! Haley got the game ball and was very excited. They are a pretty good little team considering how little practice they've had.
So I'm planning on hanging out with Dianne tonight to scrap maybe I'll actually get something done. I have a bunch of half done layouts that need to be finished but I'm tired of looking at them. They are not what I envisioned them to be. I want to play with some new stuff tired of looking at these. Haven't decided what I'm taking with me yet. I have so many new pics I want to do I may just page plan for them instead of doing stuff I planned out weeks ago.
Ok so I've been getting weird emails from my ScrapBio. They are all clearly from email address with the names of people I used to work with in my previous life. But they are all worded exactly the same like the same person is sending them just changing the names. It's been 3 years seems so strange anyone would feel the need to look me up and try to get a rise out of me. The first email seemed to come from the same person that IM'd me over a year ago to tell me anonomously that a former employee was bad mouthing me. Which was even weirder than the emails I'm currently getting. Come on people we're adults grow up WHATEVER! Bad mouth me I could care less if they have that much time and energy go for it! Dave's funny though he has a way of putting it in perspective. Who? That was forever ago? Who cares? And everytime I mention a name it takes me forever to remind him who I'm talking about. I wish I thought more like guy! Life would be so simple!
Of course my biggest problem is getting my kids to actually eat the food on their plates and getting them to pick up their toys! Off to get some kids to take a nap! Hopefully it will warm up a little more and we can hang outside later!

Catching up as usual
Friday came faster than normal for me. I still feel like it should be Monday. Mom got her Sunday morning for Mothers Day(she didn't plan that) we headed to home depot and the paint store. Came home with doughnuts and got to work on the room which Dave had cleaned out. The girls now have a room the lovely shade of pepto bismol. I'm getting used to it. But it's clean and freshly painted to I'm thrilled. Bob & Marilyn came out and we all had Maggiano's carryout for dinner. Very Yummy! I got my most wonderful Sewing machine the day before and showed everyone that would watch what it could do! Love new toys! I'm so overwhelmed by it though that I don't know what to sew first and I have to figure out the bobbin thing! LOL. Got an adorable card from the girls and some pipecleaner jewelry! Made a couple of gorgeaous if I do say so myself cards for the moms which they loved.
So Monday my mom, me and the girls hung out and planned some more stuff for the new bedroom. Then mom had to take off for the airport and Emily had to go to school. But every plane she sees in the sky she asks if it's grandma's plane. LOL.
Tuesday was a blur Em's class had a field trip to McDonalds and the Fire station. When we filled out Em's permission slip she wanted a cheeseburger and an orange drink. She claims to have eaten it. LOL this from the kid that will not try anything new???? Wish I could have seen her eating it! Abbi and I picked her up at the fire station when we drove up she was spraying water and looked to be having a grand time. It was absolutely amazing outside Sun, Mon and Tuesday. Like Summer was here! We went to the park with a bunch of other kids from the class afterwards it was fun until they started fielding balls for the the big boys practicing their hitting. The big kids were very nice but we were worried the little ones would get hit. Had to break out the sunscreen. Later I got to go to Harriets house with Shari and play with our art stuff. I finished Harriet's mask puzzle piece. Show them some stuff with the alcohol inks that is cool. I also did some work in my Egyptian book. I played with Harriets Angel Wings Pigments which are way cool I must have them all. LOL Harriet put together a bag of beads for Emily to use on her necklace she is going to do! Had a super great time!
Wed. came and I was as usual unprepared. I sent out most of my SYI's except on for the month got the house somewhat picked up. More stuff put back in Em's room. i also did the journalling for the Lake Michigan page and picked out vellum quotes and accessories for 2 other pages I'm working on. The journalling for the LM page wouldn't punch with my punch so I have to redo one of them then the layout will be done. Dave was off Wed going to search firms and buying a suit. I didn't get much done scrap wise but I have some stuff still planned to work on.
Thur. Emily had a play date with Caroline she is thrilled to be able to have people over again! Hopefully her room will never get that bad again! She is doing great with her words. She has learned to read 6 words so far and we're going to work on more this weekend. We got her gloves and ruffled socks for her dance recital. I was the only person at the bunny meeting tonight, Mel showed up with our SHL purchases now I have all my hurricanes in my LR I need more glass pebbles to fill them up. Still working on planning the retreat this summer. Not sure I'm goign to get to go this year with this group. I'm going eventually even if I have to go alone. Makes no nevermind to me. Our new bunny special is a mens gift set that is actually pretty nice! I'll have to print out the flier and see if I can sell some of them.
So didn't want to plan stamp camp last night. I'm a little depressed I'm expendable in the retreat crop. I know it's all mostly because Aunt Betty arrived but it had me bummed. I finished most of camp lastnight now I just need to finish cutting paper today. Abbi is super happy today but decided about 10 min ago she wanted a bottle so she would take a nap. She's talking more clear everyday. Today saying Mama I want baba peese! So now I'm off to cut more paper and finish the mini album for tonight. Luckily only 5 tonight. But Dave is going to be gone tomorrow morning during camp so I'm not sure how the kids are going to get to baseball???? Yikes! I'll call Laurie and Amy and see if they can start earlier so we can get to our games.

Well today just sucks. It doesn't seem to be getting any better and I want it to end. Unfortunately my solution is to break into tears anytime anyone says anything to me like your not supposed to dry that shirt why are you drying it? Or whatever. I'm always like this on/around Mothers Day and my Birthday it seems. I want so bad for my family to need me and appreciate me and when it turns out to be just another day I'm sad and hurt or when it doesn't go just as I had envisioned it. I have no idea why I get this way?
Well anyway today it's just a cumulation of things. Dave's work situation has been bugging me, I can only suppress it so long. Last night we were supposed to go and pick out my Mothers Day gift, a new sewing machine. But when Dave got home he got embroiled in the I'm 4 and I don't want to clean my room situation that has been brewing here for it seems like forever but it's probably been a week. I don't know what I expect of Dave and my two very tiny children. I guess I want them to feel they can't live without me when I'm sure they probably could do with out the drama. I want pretty flowers and nice cards and all of my favorite things including time. I shouldn't be so selfish I know Emily made me the most wonderful plate and placemat in school she made the card herself and the wrapping paper. It is the most precious thing and I adore it. Maybe I should do a layout on it I have one starting to form in my head, have to write it down. And I do really want a new sewing machine. I want to sew on my layout of my mothers day gifts! My mantra should be "today I won't be so rigid!"
I'm feeling really guilty for being so mean to Emily this week no playdates our playground until her room is clean. No fun stuff like projects or computer(Polly website). I would settle for the floor picked up and the closet jammed with stuff. I think we'll take her to the container store today and have her pick out containers for her Kelly/barbie/bitty/stuff maybe that's what she needs. Mommy always loves a new container and pictures of amazingly clean white houses. Check out the current Mary Englebright magazine and you'll know how and why my house got cleaned this week.
This week has just been going from bad to worse and yesterday I was yelling at Abbi after the toilet overflow leak into the family room incident, yes we live in the plumbing problem house!!!! The poor little thing she did nothing and everytime I cry she tells me it's ok Mama! She was also very funny after the drama died down yesterday and told me "rain in house". She is so even keeled she is not my kid, much more like her dad. Now as I'm crying , why I'm not sure, and typing this she's got all the little people in cars, wagons, skateboards and such and their driving over the very bumpy road that is our crayon box. Every once in awhile she says OK Mama and pats me on the head!
I'm missing Em's T-ball game right now but it's almost time for Abbi's nap and I just can't face everyone being this emotional. I feel terrible how can I let my feeling get in the way of me being there for my girl? I just don't want to be crying in front of everyone.
Oh my god I'm such a whiner I can't stand to listen to myself! Sorry Sorry Sorry! Ok on the upside I got my Fav coffee from Starbucks since I had to go there to buy beans. And it's yummy! Plus this time I bought Gold Coast beans which I'm sure refers to Africa however I'm going to save the cool label for Shari's mini altered book where the theme is coffee. She'll love it and it's kinda a Chicago reference. I hope the coffee is good since I'll be drinking it for the next 2 weeks based on the cool label! Challa where are you I know you can relate to this!!!!! Because yes it is all about the packaging!
Well anyway today it's just a cumulation of things. Dave's work situation has been bugging me, I can only suppress it so long. Last night we were supposed to go and pick out my Mothers Day gift, a new sewing machine. Time Gets Away From Me!!!
Yikes time has escaped me. We just got kinda busy running around and doing all our little projects.
Em has had some issues this week. The picking up of the bedroom and lying are big issues. I really hope this is a phase! She destroyed 2 layouts I had sitting on the DR table by coloring on them with pen. Not sure whats going on with her she maybe needs some one on one time??? I've been working on some polymer clay projects and she wants to make jewelry with mommy so her current reward is if she cleans her room she gets to make a piece of jewelry with me. That seems to be working she is currently furiously working in her room asking me for baggies for puzzle pieces etc. Sometimes it's just a matter of finding the right reward. I get so frustrated with her sometimes I just forget that. School is going well though on Sunday night we worked on her word can. We decorated the outside of a kool-aid can with wallpaper she picked out and giant jewels mommy glued on then we stamped her name all over and she used a bunch of her favorite stamps from her collection to stamp other things like dogs and paws and hearts. We were just about finished when she asked why there were no picutres of her on the can. Zach had pics on his can so I dug out last years school pic and we put that on there. Not sure it will stay I used the Crystal Affects to glue it down though so I hope! They are going to put all the words they learn to read in the can. Hopefully to fill it up! She's excited about the can.
