Gingerbread House - Memory Box/Poppy Stamps Blog Hop

Welcome to the Memory Box/Poppy Stamps Blog Hop - Holiday Gift Tags or Wrappers Dec 2-Dec 4

I've created this adorable little Gingerbread House tag from the Cute Cottage and Frosted Roof and Ledges dies by PoppyStamps.  Then I added accessories like the Swirled Lollipops, Goodie Gum Drops, Mini Holly Leaves and Christmas Lights Set dies by Memory Box Stamps.

I think it turned out cute with smoke out of the chimney and the roof and ledges frosted up with Flowersoft.  The windows have a bit of glitter in them and the gum drops are sugared.  Inside the door is where I will write my message.

This will be an adorable tag on my Gingerbread Cookie plates to give as gifts for the Holidays.  I have included the Gingerbread Cookie Recipe Below if you would like to try it out this Holiday Season.

Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop - Stars & Stripes

It's time for the Bombshell Blog Hop This month Alison challenged us with Stars & Stripes.

This month the image I used is the Bombshell from Ahoy Sailor and colored her with Copics then distressed her with Old Paper Distress ink.  The greeting is from is from Homeward Bound.   I created my background paper with a couple of stencils Stripes by Studio 490 and Stars by Memory Box.  The stripes are done with Distress Inks and the stars are done with gold embossing past.  I did add a few more gold mirror card stars I punched with a Fiskars heart punch.

Now be sure to head on over to Sharon's blog and check out her amazing work as well as everyone else on the hop.  Here is the full list!

June 2014 Bombshell Hump day Hop: Red Carpet Ready

It's time again for the Bombshell Blog Hop this month our theme is Red Carpet Ready!  I had fun with this one.  I colored the Mermaid from Mermaid Treasure and the car from Speed Shop with Copic Markers.  I then embossed the stars from Tattoo Backgrounds in the background(hee hee).  The red carpet was created with Distress Ink and post-it notes.  The background color was also done with Distress Inks.  The stars are cut out of Gold Mirror Card with a Memory Box Die - Star Garlands.   I love how the colors came out and I love the sparkle on this card though it's hard to see in the picture.  Be sure to stop by Alaine's blog after this and if you've gotten side tracked along the way here are all the links to the talented artists in this months hop!

Washi Away - March Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop

It's time for the March Bombshell Stamps Humpday Blog Hop!  This months challenge was to use Washi tape.  So I used a lot of Washi tape. I love any opportunity to break out the tape and play with it.  The cloud background, grass and bathing suit on my favorite stamp Bombshell Angel are all made of Washi Tape.   I did color the Angel with Copics and matched the flower in her hair to her bathing suit.

Be sure to check out all of the amazing creations below on the Blog Hop!

This card started in Illinois and then traveled to Tennessee where it was completed with my limited craft kit I brought along for spring break.  I thought of a million things I could add to it but alas they were at home.  Spring break has been fun so far until Tuesday when we woke up to snow and had near white out conditions while out to lunch.  We apologized to everyone for bringing the snow with us and our little dog was not at all amused to find her warm playground here invaded with the white stuff she so detests.  Hopefully today will be warmer!

Have a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Bombshell Blog Hop - Animal Instincts

It's time again for the Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop.  This months theme is Animal Instincts.  I was so excited to create a fun background for this theme.  I used a stencil to create a faux snakeskin paper strip.  I had a great time playing with distress inks and perfect pearls to create the snakeskin affect. Then I colored Bombshell Angel with Copics and created her earthy bathing suite she's Bombshell Snake Charmer isn't she?  The greeting is from Banners Sayings (which is on sale right now) and inked up with more Distress Ink then I went over the words with glaze pen along with Angels shoes, Lips and Flower to add a bit of sparkle.

Be sure to head on over to all the Amazingly Talented Artists blogs below and check out their take on the Animal Instincts Theme.  Thank you so much for stopping by.

Bombshell Hump Day Hope - Waterworld

Hard to believe it's that time of the month again.  Last Wednesday of November and time for the Bombshell Hump Day Hop our theme this month is Waterworld.   This month I took the opportunity to play with my new toy!  I cut out the card and the top layer with the circles.  The background is alcohol ink on glossy cardstock and the Mermaid from the Bombshell Set Mermaid Treasure was colored with Copic Markers.  She was my very fist Bombshell Stamp and I love love coloring her.  The seaweed is also from Mermaid Treasure and did add rhinestone bubbles for lots more underwater affect.

Be sure to check out all of the other talented people along the hop and let them know how much you love their work!  Have a great time!

Bombshell Stamps - September Hump Day Hop: Speed Demons - Masters of Transportation

It's that time again.  The last Wednesday of September.   Did I just say that?   Time is flying by!  Anyway it's time for the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Blog Hop.  It seemed simple I was excited to step outside my box and do something really masculine with motorcycles and cars.  I did not get there as you can see I was distracted by the Biker Bombshell Digital stamp set and making my own background paper.  I get caught up in a technique or product and things don't turn out the way I think they will.  It's normal though,  here anyway.    I do love the background paper though that I colorized with Distress Inks.   And the Biker Outfit was colored with Copic along with Bombshell Angel.  I have to say I love all the digital outfits you can get for your Angel.  Just color them up and cut them out.  Or print them on patterned papers so much fun!  Makes this stamp the most versatile.  OK now that I've stretched this theme to the limit!  Stop on over at everyones blogs and see what amazing things they have done definitely more transportation related, I'm sure!  Thanks for stopping by!  I hope your having a great day!

Bombshell Cowboys & Indians Humpday Hop - August

It's that time of the month again.  Time for  a Bombshell Blog Hop!  This months theme is Cowboys & Indians!  I chose to use the Digital Stamp by Bombshell Indian Princess.   I had to break open the new Inktense Pencils that arrived on my doorstep yesterday for my birthday.(Thank You Thank You!)  So I colored her up and fussy cut her out.  I used Floral Ovals and Large Oval dies from Spellbinders to set her down into the card surrounded by an embossed sheet of Kraft Paper using the Basket Weave folder from Darice I chalked it up after I embossed it.  I also used the feather dies from MFT Die-Namics which I also chalked.   Love love love how she turned out.  I probably should have cut her out before I colored my fingers mussed a bit of the coloring but for the first go round with these Awesome pencils not bad at all.  And considering I didn't want to remove them from the plastic because they were so pretty I'm happy!
Thank you so much for stopping by!  Head on out to the other blogs on the list for some more inspiring Bombshell Art!

In honor of the end of summer I chose to do something summery and tropical.  Inspired by what remind me of post card images.

I used the Altered Pages Travel/Transportation Digital Sheets specifically the states.  I printed out the Palm Tree image and inked it up with Tea Dye Distress ink.  Then stamped the Bombshell Hawaiian Girl stamp on watercolor paper and water colored her with my pencils inking the edges with more Tea Dye.  With the focal images done and mounted on cardstock I cut out a couple of Memory Box Border Dies Big Splash and Sandal Bordes.  Then I dug around in my embellishment drawers and found the sequins, day dreamer acrylic and arrow.  I wrote the word Splash on some cardstock and went over it glaze pen adding more bubbles/water spray with the glaze pen.

Hope you enjoy the Hop with all of the Amazing Artists Thanks for stopping by!  Have a Great Day!

Bombshell Blog Hop "Paint The Town"

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

It's that time again the last Wednesday in July can you believe it?   Time for the Bombshell Blog Hop, this month we are "Painting the Town" or the cards as it were.  I got a chance to use my new Distress Paints and some of the stains as well.   I colored the images from Indian Princess with Copics and added them to my painted and dry embossed piece as well as some jute to make it just a little more masculine.  This is my first attempt at something a tad Western.  Not sure I'm good at it or not.  But it was fun to try.

Be sure to head over to all of the blogs participating starting at the Bombshell Blog and see what everyone else has created.

June Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop - Textures & Layers

Welcome to the June Bombshell Blog Hop -  This months theme is Textures and Layers.  I'm hoping mine are visible with my lighting.  The card is plain white but the mat on top of that which is white but embossed with the Polk-a-dot Embossing Folder.  Then the Palm Tree and Shell from the Bombshell Hawaiian Girl set are stamped onto watercolor paper and watercolored along with the sand, sea and sky.  After that I die cut waves from another piece of watercolor paper and rubbed it with my Gelatos.  To finish it off I ran it through the Bubblewrap embossing folder and added a Pearl and Rhinestones to the Shell, Waves and Sun.  The entire piece is popped up onto the white embossed mat with foam tape.

Be sure to head on over to all of the other fun Blogs participating in this hop.

And since I opened a new package of Foam Tape today I had to share an addiction with you!  Yup I have a lot of TAPE!  I and others go through a lot so our LSS carries the large rolls!  36 yards.   MMMMM I Love Fresh Tape!  OK enough of my sickness... Back to our regularly scheduled programing.  Thanks for stopping by.
