WOYWW #151

As you can see I have a ton of stuff.  This is most of my haul from the Garage Sale at the LSS where I work.  Lots of stamps mostly Unity and The Greeting Farm, a Cool Punch, a couple Large Quickutz dies, a bag of doggy related items including 2 punches, and a large bag of UM rubber it was like a grab bag.   Not shown are some binder storage sheets, 2 magazines and a couple of Quickutz dies I have already put away.  I think I did ok I probably spent more than I made but that's ok we had fun doing the Garage Sale.  Today is the last day of it everything left is 50% off.  I'm off work for the day, I hope they do well and have very little to pack up tonight.  I already have a stack of stuff ready to go for the next sale, there was a bunch I didn't get priced and over there.

This is what went down while I was working this weekend.  Abbi's room got painted a very vibrant Purple!  She loves it!  Once it is all done we can begin decorating the room!  She's got it all figured out how it should look.

Also this week.  Abbi also moved to level for in Skating.  We're all so excited for her.

Emily finished her big Social Studies project for school last week including a working Volcano for her presentation.  She also got her Point costume this week for her recital, it's beautiful and delicate just what a ballerina should wear.

Cheesey Potatoes with Pork Chops baked on top.   I added buttered corn flakes to the top for crunch.  Oh my this was yummy

Room Cleaning Part 1 - Shelves

Well I've been working in my room trying to get organized.  I've Completed behind the door.  The black and white bins are from Target and the shoe drawers are from The Container Store.  I also purchased the last of the Acrylic Frames I needed to house my wood mount stamps.  I need to Label Everything and/or make some tags up.   But that part will be more fun.

--The top shelf houses black boxes with lids for little used items, like my light box, alterables, some foam stamps, unused albums etc.

--The second shelf down has half done large projects, alterables and some large foam stamps.

--The thirds shelf has narrow bins there are die cuts from other companies like Memory Box, MFT Die-Namics, Cheery Lynn, PTI, Alterables, Large Flowers that don't fit in my drawers,  3D Stickers(K&Co. I have a little addiction to these) an one Empty where I put some things that need to be sorted out.

I have lots more areas that need sorting but it's fun going through things.

WOYWW #150

My Work Desk for WOYWW #150.   Second week for me and I can still sit here and work.   I should probably show you my dining room where I used to work.  It has remnants of kids school projects and bank papers from Dave.  Nothing from me...  Ok so we have from the left my punch book I was looking for something yesterday before work.  A few smash items I purchased on Sunday they need a home.  My white elephant from the C.A.R.S. meeting and some ribbon I purchased to go with it, I need an idea(much harder than a home).  2 copics in desperate need of a refill and various other items from projects this week.

C.A.R.S. Swap April 2012 - Birds or Bees

My submission for the C.A.R.S. meeting over Craft Fancy.  This month we are also trading our White Elephant(or Pink Elephant) items for the swap in July.  Very excited.  I've been cleaning in my room having a hard time picking what I will put in my brown paper bag.

First Timer WOYWW 149 - I can work in my stuio again!

So I'm obsessed with this blog Stamping Ground that runs a little thing called Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday.  I've been following them for abut 8 months now.   Although it's been around longer. I've been dreaming of participating but my workdesk has mainly been all over the house and at work,  mostly in the dining room(before and after the move) and it's been piles of stuff I had to clear to have a little workspace.  Lately, I've been inspired and wanted to play along.  My studio space however had turned into a junk room and you could barely walk in here.  Well for the last few weeks I've been cleaning and organizing and purging and cleaning.  It's not complete but it's close I have piles to go through still but it's so much better it's not even funny.   I'll be sharing it by sections as I get them completed.

Yesterday around noon I finished the counters for the most part and was able to prep for my class in my studio(I'm not sure I've done this in the last 3 years).  Seriously a lot less time used up trying to find and organize everything.   I wanted to jump for joy and shout it from the roof tops.  I'll settle for my blog.

Here is what is on my desk today.  This is my swap for C.A.R.S. tomorrow, it still needs to be put together but all of the pieces are complete waiting for assembly.   I'll post again with a completed card.

Sneak April ATC Class
