Gathered Blooms Thanks

Today I'm over on the Memory Box Blog with a pretty purple card.  I used a favorite new stamp of ours Gathered Blooms G2021 which I stamped and embossed in gold over a watercolor background created with Peerless Watercolors.  Once it was complete I tore around the image and added A Little Thanks 98575 in gold.  I added the finished piece to a violet card base with some turquoise seem binding.   The color scheme makes me Happy I hope it makes you Happy too!

Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop - Stars & Stripes

It's time for the Bombshell Blog Hop This month Alison challenged us with Stars & Stripes.

This month the image I used is the Bombshell from Ahoy Sailor and colored her with Copics then distressed her with Old Paper Distress ink.  The greeting is from is from Homeward Bound.   I created my background paper with a couple of stencils Stripes by Studio 490 and Stars by Memory Box.  The stripes are done with Distress Inks and the stars are done with gold embossing past.  I did add a few more gold mirror card stars I punched with a Fiskars heart punch.

Now be sure to head on over to Sharon's blog and check out her amazing work as well as everyone else on the hop.  Here is the full list!

Garden from Sunday

 Lots of Strawberries coming now.
Can't wait for the big tomatoes to turn red.
 Purples flowers still going strong.
These little tomatoes only get golden/orangish we eat them in salads.
Our first musk melon.  It still has a long way to go.
 Lots of yellow squash.
 Our second eight ball zucchini.
We tied up all the tomatoes they were leaning in their cages on to the peppers.  Poor peppers they are struggling.  Hopefully they will now get some breathing room.

Forest Pine in the Snow

Minidottree
Good Morning I'm over at the Memory Box Blog today!  Has everyone recovered a bit from the Blog Blitzing?  To counteract the 90+ temps here for a couple of days I made a snowy card.  Wishful thinking and all.  First I inked my background with Distress Ink then down went the Forest Pine G2016 with Archival Ink.  Next I put white embossing paste throught the Mini Dot Stencil 88533.  For the overlay piece I stenciled the Flurry Frame 88579 with Distress Ink and cut out an oval from the center.  Lastly came greeting stamp Wonderful Time CS2013B.  Hope you like it and the warm fuzzy feeling you get from it isn't just from the Summer heat seeping in!

Have a Wonderful Day and Thank You for stopping by and sharing part of your Day with me!

Memory Box Blog Blitz - Shining Candles

Shining Candles

Shiningcandles1
Good Morning!  I'm over at the Memory Box Blog Today!   Happy Blitz Thursday!  Aren't all of the projects amazing?  I can't wait to see more!

Today I am sharing with you the Shining Candles Die 98937. I just love how gorgeous and traditional it is.  Definately the perfect focal point for any project.  Today I have embeded the die cut into my card and then filled in the candles with Glossy Accents.  Everything else was colored with Copic Markers and the Gold bits got some stickles.
Shiningcandles2
I hope you can see some of the details in this up close image.  I was trying to get an angle that shows how the candles look like real wax.
