Catalina Christmas Wreath - Memory Box

Happy Thanksgiving!  Well it is here in the US.  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog Today!  Today we will spend time with our Families, extended Families and neighbors Giving Thanks and then we stuff ourselves with Turkey and other yummy things.  It's the kick off to our Holiday Season as well and I'm with my Mom's cooking up a storm with the Macy's parade on in the background getting ready to begin work on my Holiday Cards, after the feast and we wash the dishes of course.  So here is an idea for you.

The background for this is the Adornment Stencil 88587 stenciled over Shabby Shutters ink with clear embossing paste on glossy card stock.  Once everything was dry I misted the project and whipped away the green where the embossing paste was not.  I love the affect it looks like grand wallpaper.  Then the Catalina Wreath 98189 was cut from Gold Mirror Card and added to the top of the card.  To dress it up a bit more I added a few glitter domes to it.  The Merry Christmas B2019 is stamped in red ink.

Smiling Elf Shadow Box

A really fun shadow box featuring the Elf.  He's busy drinking hot cocoa and playing with the tree ornaments.  I'm sure there is some maple syrup in there and maybe some singing.  Everything here is Silhouette except the snowflakes I've punched those with a Martha Stewart punch.  The shadow box is by Lori Whitlock.  This is my first time making one that is sectioned I love how it turned out.

Good Morning, I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today I have for you a card using the Birch Trees Stencil - 88527  This really is a great Stencil and can be used for any season.  Today I have sponged it with Viva Decor 3D Stamp paint in mat Black on white card stock, so it looks like chalk ink.  The bird  from Resting Birds Die - 98527 was cut from Gold Mirror Card.  The Heaven Sings Stamp - B1385 was stamped on white card stock and inked with some light green ink.  All of this was layered onto Sage card stock and Patterned Paper then finally put onto a Sage Note A2 Card.

Natures Joy Pinecone Frame - Memory Box!

Good Morning,  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today using the Pinecone Frame Die and a little Snow and a little tutorial here.
Today we are going to use the New Pinecone Frame - 98971 as a Stencil and airbrush the color in.  First die cut the frame out of a heavy weight cardstock.

Next add some temporary adhesive too the back of the pieces.
I first added the frame with the branch to a blank sheet of paper.  Colors used for the sky are Copic BG90 and BG93.
 Here is the finished sky.
Now add the pinecone piece to the background lining it up with the branch.  Airbrush Copic E43, E44 and E47
I didn't cover the entire pinecone with the each color but from the tips light to dark.  Also airbrush the frame around the piece.
The finished pinecones before I peel up the stencil.
Now use a stylus and the Copic Opaque White to add snow to the points of the pinecones
I have  also added snowy dots as well as the Pine Needle Border 98467.  Nature was cut with Script Lowercase Alphabet 98896 and Joy out of Urban Uppercase Alphabet 98881 both out of Gold Mirror Card.  The entire piece is glued to an Ivory Card Front.

Santas Coming

I've done these boxes for special layouts I've made friends and family but this is the first box that is just a scene.  I like how it turned out with the word paper as wallpaper and the fireplace.  I had a hard time choosing a fireplace.  This one I've embossed with a brick embossing folder to give it some texture.

All files are from Silhouette the frame/shadowbox is Lori Whitlock.  These make amazing light weight frames for a ton of paper projects.  Love them.

Memory Box - Metallic Grand Thank You

Good Morning!  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today with a quick elegant Thank You Card.  Today I have used the Lanthenay Stencil and some Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint Walnut Brown Metalic and Gold onto black cardstock to create my background.  Once that was dry add the Alessandria Tree from Gold Cardstock to the card (don't forget to trim the trunk so it doesn't show up in your greeting).  The cut and layer the Grand Thank You over the top from Copper Cardstock.  Don't you just love all the mixed metals?  Since there are so much going on I layered the entire piece onto an A2 Kraft Card.
