Watercolor Fluttering

Good Morning,  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today with a bright Spring card today.  I adore this new stamp Fluttering CS2210G I could not wait to watercolor it.  I stamped it with StazOn Cloudy Sky Ink by Imagine Crafts on watercolor paper by Strathmore.  I like the weight of the 400 series best for card making it makes it easy to flatten the piece to attach to the card.  The water coloring was done with a little palette set by Angora.   After the card was complete and dry I misted it with Imagine Crafts Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle all over the entire piece (which is really hard to see in the picture but super cool in person).  And then a little Stickles to each body to make it stand out even more..  Finally I added the word FLY with Alphabet Soup Uppercase 99154 out of yellow cardstock.  Everything was layered onto a purple paper.
I love how bright and vibrant it turned out!  Makes me happy!  Especially this time of year when it's sometimes rainy sometimes sunny.  Hope you like it!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Have a Wonderful Day!

Pennington Rose Pink Postage

Good Afternoon, I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today with with a pretty glittery floral card, perfect for Mother's Day or for a Special Birthday whatever you may need coming up.  I have used the new Pennington Rose Blossoms 99147 layered light pink on top of dark pink on the Perfect Patch Strip 99166 I cut some small squares of the Moroccan patterned paper to go into the squares this made the flowers pop more and then I added glitter to the flowers.  To complete the card I layered the squares onto the  Postage Set 99131 (just the small square corner) and the Postage Strip 99168 (just the border strip).  I love how the 2 layers of flowers pop off the squares.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Have a Wonderful Monday!

Row Of Poppies - Memory Box Blog Blitz

Happy Blog Blitz Thursday!  We are well into the Memory Box Blog Blitz to introduce the 2015 Spring Collection.  Is everyone having a BLAST?   I love seeing what everyone has done with this amazing collection of dies, stamps and stencils.  I am excited to be a part of this Blitz over on the Memory Box Blog today.

We will be announcing winners the Outside The Box Blog on Monday, April 20th."

Today's Prize is Row of Poppies 99137 and here is the card I have created using it.

Actually I did 2 Row of Poppies 99137 next to each other to fill the card front.  I topped the green stems with red/pinkish poppies.  I went back and forth between red and purple, red one in the end I love how it pops on the light blue background which has been cut with the Beaded Background 99132 I turned it upside down so it seems the green dots are floating up.  This was all layered over a green card which I hope gives the illusion of foliage.  I have added small greenish rhinestones to add a touch of sparkle they are much more visible person.  I just love the surreal feel it all gives.

Thank you for joining me on the Blog Blitz.  Be sure to check back later for another amazing project and another FABULOUS giveaway later today!  I will see you there.

It's time for the April Swap

For the month of April our C.A.R.S. theme is Faces.  Here is my card.  The Santa face is from Silhouette isn't he adorable.  He is built up with foam tape so very dimensional hard to see in this photo. The Merry Christmas is My Favorite Things cut from glossy black paper.   I adore how he turned out.

So in case you are popping in late this is what's happening.  C.A.R.S. is the card club I belong to and we so a swap every month.  This year all of my cards except  two specific themes are going to be Christmas.  I'm making extra so by the end of the year my Holiday Cards are complete. Phew.   You can read all about it HERE.

Happy Easter - A Bit Early

Good Morning again I know two Memory Box Posts in one week. Fun right?    I have this Happy Easter Card over on the Memory Box Blog Today.   It's slightly early since today is Good Friday but that's ok we are all running around preparing for the upcoming Holidays.  I so wanted to make an Easter cards with colorful eggs so I created some striped paper by cutting some strips of Memory Box patterned paper and adhering them to a sheet of paper covered in adhesive then die cut the eggs out of the striped paper using the 2nd largest egg from Delicate Nest Open Studio Set 30023.  Once the eggs were prepared I cut 3 of them in half with pinking sheers.  The Baby Bunnies 99105 are cut from white and popping out of the eggs. The green foliage was created with the Bamboo Shoots 98793 and Happy comes from the Happy Cloud and Easter is cut from the Urban Uppercase Alphabet 98881.  All of the patterned papers are Memory Box as well.  I love all of the colors in this card they scream Spring/Easter to me.
