OMG 25 Days Left REALLY?

Card made with Stampin Up cardstock, Riding Hood Red, Garden Green, Pink Pirouette. Spellbinder Poinsettia Dies, Fiskars Hole Punch, Stampin Up Ribbon Riding Hood Red, and Green Satin from Joann's. Stamp is Stampin Up as is ticket corner punch. Almost forgot Pop Dots!

Gotta get going with Christmas cards and all of the handmade gifts I want to make. Kids went back to school today, I worked all day though. Tomorrow I have some time to get things cleaned up and started on my next projects. At some point this week I have to run out and look for more snow pants for the kiddos we are expecting snow Thursday and Friday and there will be no recess outside without snow pants when that happens. I'll never be forgiven! Leftovers are about finished so now it's back to menu planning, instead of a smorgasbord of food every night.

So hopefully you all had a wonderful Monday back to work and school and such! Have a great evening!

Black Friday's over ! Not going anywhere, well except work. And Dave stood in line at TRU at midnight to see if he could get something Emily wanted but the tickets were all passed out by the time he made it to the door. That's the extent of our BF shopping. I went online to Amazon and ordered as soon as he got home. I'd rather get it done easily I think.

Dave and his dad hung our wreath outside on the garage Thursday so that's done. Fall Decorations are put away, Emily did that this morning. We are almost ready to get out the Christmas decor and get it done!

So it's off to drop things at the store 10% off all merchandise in the store today! The sale just keeps going How could anyone pass that up? First I must eat leftovers for lunch! YUM-O.

Have a great day, get lots of deals!

Thanksgiving Feast

MMMMM I got a turkey Leg!!! That's all the kids could talk about all day, was how they wanted a leg.
Getting ready. I should have taken a pic after the food was out but I was too distracted getting everything to the table. It was ohhh so yummy in the end though! You can't tell but Abbi's turkey she made in school is on the table. She named him Bob. Like grandpa I guess? We had a wonderful time. Ate lots, moaned about eating lots then we ate again! Totally perfect!
Hope everyone had a great day!

Get Ready for Thanksgiving!

Place cards for my Thanksgiving Table using a die cut, Bazzill Cardstock, Colorbox Chalk Ink, Little Yellow Bicycle Patterned Paper, SU punches and SU Sizzlets for the leaves.

Working on the menu, cleaning and preparing the house today! Tomorrow will be chopping and prepping the food. I shopped over the weekend and even remembered to buy and make a menu for days that aren't Thanksgiving! So we get to eat dinner M, T, & W as well!

The kids are home all week but Em has had a rough day of it today. She's either running into something, knocking her head or burning her mouth. It's been all day long not sure what's going on? But hey she's still in her PJ's and it's afternoon. HA

Hope everyone is have a great fall day!

November Technique Class Tomorrow

I'm excited to share some fun fall techniques this month at the store tomorrow. Check out the Craft Fancy Post for samples! There is another class next Tuesday evening as well!

2 Days Left Before Fall Break Starts

Stamps Schlosser Designs, Ink Versamark, Ranger & Staz On, Glossy Cardstock & Silver Papers, Stickles, Ribbon, Brayer, technique embossed resist. It's really hard to see the resist and the sparkles on the glossy cardstock. I must learn to photograph shiny stuff!

Luckily it's warm here today otherwise the rain we are getting would be a snow storm. And I have too much to do before the kids are home everyday! No time for snow! EEEEK Fall break is starting this weekend, then when will I get things done? Really I need to be more organized! It's like I'm two people the child, the one that procrastinates and waits to do things and the mother, the one that is constantly saying if you had just done this earlier you wouldn't be in this jam? My inner dialogue is exhausting!

The kids however are well and truly excited to be off school for a week Abbi is still asking if she has school today each and every day. Like it might sneak up on her in the middle of a week......BREAK TIME! Emily is trying to get the phone number of the new girl in school Momoku but she's very popular since she started this week, she really wants to have her over next week. Dave is planning on taking the girls by the office and to his Moms one day. Their time will go sooo quickly! Wait till they hear they may be decorating for Christmas over break they will totally freak! Mwahahahahahaha Mommy laugh!

Have a great day!

Green Wednesday

Papers Cosmo Cricket, Stamp Stampin Up, Other - Fabric Strip

This is the Birthday card I made for Dianne's Birthday Celebration last month!

It's Green Wednesday here. Our school has GW once a month. It's a day when the kids are rewarded for wearing green, walking to school(via the walking school bus), bringing waste free lunches etc. etc. etc. I love this day(most of the time) the kids are excited about it! But today it's raining a lot! It's 45 degrees and it's raining. So they get up and plan their wardrobes around green "Mommy I can only wear those pants from the dryer if their green!" etc. I work on lunches, which are always waste free except for drinks most of the time so I worry about water bottles not leaking etc. Then I get we're walking to school from Sams house. I look outside, hmmm what's a Mom to do? So I mention the other child in our car pool might not be interested in walking in the rain. Whatever, Emily yells I'm walking. So I give and say she can walk. What about me Abbi yells out. Fine whatever if I have to drive the other child to school by herself I will but it totally defeats the purpose of GREEN WEDNESDAY if I'm still driving to school, RIGHT? Frustration sets in. So we head over to the other childs house. Luckily she is up for walking in the rain. I still drove them half way I mean it's poring they would be drowned rats before they got in the building. I didn't see any sign of the walking school bus but the kids got their tickets for prizes and their happy! Now I'm thinking what are we going to do when it's snowing and blowing on GW. ARGHHHHHH Must stop worrying about things I have no control over!

Happy November

Finally November is here. October is always so crazy with everything going on. Now we only have 3 weeks of school this month and then Thanksgiving week! Woo Hoo! Yesterday Dianne and I celebrated the new month by heading over to Craft Fancy and getting lots of work done in the classroom. Love that! Getting out of the house always help to give me a new perspective. Marc and Paula picked up the kids after church Sunday and then we had a suprise visit by Matthew, he had driven up from Fort Knox for the weekend. This is what our tree out front looked like at the begining of last week. It's completely bare now and very sad but it was a beautiful shade of fall before that last rain storm on Friday.
Bonsey made it outside on Halloween. He can't be out in the rain so he's been laying around the living room a lot lately!
The kids all dressed up and ready to head out to collect Candy! This was before they came back for coats it was a little chilly! But they got lots of candy and had a great time! Abbi is still recovering she stayed home from school, a little under the weather today and went to bed before I got home from work at 5:30. Dave said she seemed to feel better mid day! Hopefully tomorrow she'll be back to her bubbly self!
