Wednesdays Are a Challenge

HA they really are and today is the worst one of the month. Girl Scouts, Dance and Scrapping along with Prep for Camp Friday and Easter Dinner Planning. I shouldn't be here typing I should be trying to figure out what we're doing at the Girl Scout Meeting in a few hours. YIKES! I've almost finished shopping for the E. Baskets. Just need the Candy! At some point I might take down St. Patricks Decorations and put up Easter who knows?
So here are some more challenge cards. The first one is the Card Sketch Challenge which was a lot of fun I used Making Memories Paper and justjohanna stamps. The Second and Third are from the Photo Challenge. The sailboat pic I took on the Michigan side of the lake and I thought it looked cool and refreshing! The other one is a pic from last year when I was documenting my bulbs blooming. I thought the justjohanna stamps were perfect for these especially the "Ta Da". The kiddo's pulled out my first Crocus Saturday while I was inside making this card! ARGHHHHHHH Hopefully more will come up!

Life is Challenging! Sometimes!

Sometimes it is! Right now though all is quiet and I hear Zingoz say "Uh Oh" and "That Tickles" and think Abs is rolling over that stupid toy in bed. But no she started singing to it! A minute later she's back asleep! I think she sleep sings! HA!
So here are some more cards from the crop over at Linnecards. The first one was the stamping challenge. These ladybugs have been rolling around in my head for awhile. It was nice to get them down on paper. I'll need to try it one more time. I like their ruffles. Stamps are justjohanna. The second card is from the hybrid challenge. Paper is Betsy Tuma from Plain Digital Wrapper stamps justjohanna.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Is everyone GREEN today? Is it St. Pats today or was that Saturday did they move it? Did I miss it? I made my kids wear green to school today to be sure! HA
So I've been doing the Challenges over at Linnecards.com all weekend long. Only 3 more to go but lots of scanning and stitching and uploading to do! Have to have it done by 9pm PST tonight so that's what I'm doing. Plus I have tons of Design work to be scanned this is my least favorite part about creating. It's also the thing I put off until the last! Sad sad sad I know!
Here are the first 2 challenges first one was a card using Old/New Supplies. My paper, die cuts and tiles are more than 2 years old for sure. The new item is my stamp from justjohanna. It was fun digging out old stuff from my stash!
The 2 layouts are from the Page sketch challenge. The challenge required 2 layouts and I did it phew! But 2 unplanned layouts are not so easy for me! Both use some new Making Memories paper and justjohanna stamps! I've been exploring my word/greeting stamps lately! I actually have a lot that work on layouts I'm pretty pleased about that!
There will be more coming as I get them uploaded I thought I wouldn't submit you to it all in one day! It will come throughout the week! Don't drink too much green beer today!!!!! Have a good one!

Cyber Crop Today!

So today we're having a Big HONKIN cyber crop over at Linnecards to celebrate Sharon's 3rd year in business! The designers have come up with a Challenge an hour and games to play prizes will be awarded after the Monday deadline! The challenges are going to be a ton of fun!

I have the 2pm and the 6pm(EST) challenges! Here's a sneaky peaky!

Very Excited!

So take a look at this Fabulous new stamp! I'm so very excited it's my first drawing come to life or rubber! I submitted it awhile back to Johanna and voila it's in the latest release! I'm so STINKIN EXCITED! I can't wait to see it IRL Be sure to check out all the new stamps HERE!

What is Normal???

Today I feel like things are back to normal..... Normal after what? February? Snow? Cold? Days Off School? Winter? I have no idea. It's sunny and 30 outside and I feel like finally things are back to some sort of routine. I know there really is no routine and this peace and calm can go away at any mintue but I'm happily sitting here typing this anyway! We can see some small patches of grass for the first time in months it seems. There is more snow coming but for the moment it's sunny and the giant piles we have are shrinking! I can even see around the ones at the corners now to pull my car out onto the streets around here without getting hit! Phew! It's the little things you know! HA

So I have eye candy to share! First how stinkin cute is that BARN? Does anyone remember those barn shaped party invites I paper pieced and shaded???? If only this stamp existed then how easy would my life(and Dianne's and my Mom's and everyone else that cut and glued with me) have been? Anyway this is from the new release justjohanna stamps! There are cute cows and lots of kitchen stuff like stoves, mixing bowls, pots and pans etc. there are mushrooms and the cutest bed oooh the stage and fancy ladies with powdered wigs. I could go on forever you have to go and check it out for yourself? While your there take a look a the new kits Johanna is offering! OMG they are so cool you're going to FLIP!

Just for good measure here is a little inspiration for you! The first one uses the Grand Teacup. It's hard to see here but the teacups are shiny like china thanks to my handy glaze pen. The second one just fun using some owls Dianne loaned me and the clouds!

Happy Birthday Abs!

5 years ago today during a blizzard I gave birth to my littlest Baby who is so not a baby anymore. She isn't even a toddler anymore. I don't know what happened it seems like yesterday in between contractions chatting with the Dr. about the Salmon Migration waiting for Dave to make in to the hospital through the snow. It's time to sign her up for Kindergarten and it's all moving just a little too quick! She had a great day though except for the part where she asked me if she was really 5 now and not 4 anymore. I told her yes she was really 5 now. She ran upstairs to where we measure them in their room and came down crying and blubbering she wasn't 5 she was still 4 and showing me how she wasn't this tall. Then I had to explain that that was her height and not her age. She's still skeptical, because you know Mommy might be fibbing to her to get her to stop crying, but she accepted it and moved on for the time being. The dinner request was shrimp scampi and spaghetti which she loved and actually asked for seconds(she has never done that except pizza and candy of course). Then we got a tray of mini cupcakes decorated with candy from the store for dessert! Who could ask for more?

Anyway here is s card I made using Doodlebug and justjohanna stamps. I colored the circle dot cake with glaze pens it's shiny and bright IRL.
