I think this is OK to post now? SURPRISE

So Sunday we were at my in-laws house. Visiting having dinner etc. The phone rang and it was my nephew from Iraq. He talked to Grandma and Grandpa and then had to go. Very cool to have him call while we were there. And then we moved on with our visit. Fast forward to today! My FIL calls in the early evening and asks if we'll be home, they'll be out by us and want to drop something off. Cool we'll be around all evening. So about 6:15 the doorbell rings and it's Grandma and Grandpa so the scrambling for the door begins, you know little girl squeals! They come in and say they brought a surprise and kept looking outside. Seriously I thought they bought a new car or something when in walks........................Matthew! He made arrangements with Grandma and Grandpa to pick him up and surprise everyone his Dad, Paula and the kids and his Mom at work, his brothers etc. He has to go back to Iraq in a couple of weeks but it was Wonderful to see him safe and sound here at home! The girls were thrilled to see him and were crushed when they had to go back on there tour of surprise! HA But we'll see him more while he's here!

Then they can make him play Wii and Twister Dance Party like they planned! I'm sure he'll love that!

Life Is a Circus!

Oh man is it ever! Thing have been busy! Last weekend Dave was gone to Wisconsin and the girls and I taught a class. Plus spring break started and it's been non stop socializing. Yesterday I hosted an all day crop where I was less than productive? Don' t know what my dealio is? Today was a trip to the Library and just catching up from the week. Tomorrow Dave is taking off to hang out with the girls before they head back to school on Monday. We might check out the new IMAX grand opening tomorrow!

Happy 4th Anniversary Linnecards.com

Linnecards.com is having a 4th year Anniversary crop this weekend. Well starting today. There are challenges, games and prizes. It's going to be lots of fun everything is based on Movies. There are challenges like, Ratatouille and A Bugs Life and the National Treasure game etc. Pop on over and throw your hat in the ring! It will be lots of fun!

So it's cold again. Everything was frozen this morning. I'm glad to stay in and crop! Today is the last day of school before Spring Break! Hopefully next week will be nicer. This weekend the girls and I are teaching our Mother/Daughter class for Easter/Spring over at Craft Fancy! I'm excited we're doing some adorable projects!

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone!
Here is my Lucky Lucky Lucky elephant named Lucky of course! Isn't she cute? There is really notching better than a polka dotted elephant! Hee Hee! She's a stamp from justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet and tons of fun to work with. No pun intended! Below are some more stamps from the OBP the gnomes in a boat, the pond and the sentiment Warm Thoughts. The gnomes are coming home from a very long trip to their own Isle of Green! Everything is green. I pulled out my green scrap drawer and went to town! It is the one scrap drawer I can't shut I have too many scraps so this is a good exercise! I have a couple more but 2 at a time right now.

Oh my goodness is everything gorgeous here. It's so amazing Em wore shorts to school today. Green of course. I think we will walk home from school! Plus I'm planning on grilling out tonight. It's going to be almost 70 here. I can't wait! Last night we walked to the park and tonight we will probably do the same!

Oooh I gotta also share the hula-hooping girls are getting better. Em walked almost all the way home from the park hula-hooping and she can even jog while she does it. Abs is getting it to go up her arms almost over her head and come back down. Soon I will have juggling hula hoopers! All they do is practice!

Hope everyone has a great holiday and drinks lots of green beer! Or at the very least an Irish coffee!

Hey Mr. Bluebird!!!!

There is a new card sketch and contest over at card-a-bility blog and Linnecards this week. Go check it out and be sure to enter. Here is my inspiration card for the sketch. I'm not sure why I saw city buildings in the sketch but I did and had a bunch of mirror card to use for the windows. The papers are BoBunny Double Dots. Love these they are so versatile.

Also exciting today is the fact that my Etsy Shop is featured in a Treasury of Blue Birds called Mr. Bluebird with the card I made below! How fun is that?

So we're having wonderful amazing weather here. We've been outside and had the windows open. It's invigorating, all the fresh air. And all the kids want to do is play outside they are so excited it's warm. I can't tell them it will probably be 30 by the end of the week. Oh well we'll just enjoy what we have!

Your Daddy Can Dance

So it's been busy here all week. Just regular running around stuff but lots. And today Dave had his first Dance rehearsal with the girls and other Dads doing a number for the recital! Oh my to be a fly on the wall during those classes! Oh well I get to sit in the audience the day of and watch! I'm very excited! Anyone else interested in tickets? I plan on buying the DVD as well!

Later the girls had their Craft Camp and Craft Fancy and apparently informed Simone, as soon as we dropped them off, that their Daddy shakes his booty! HA

So here is a card I made using a punch! Love this bird and the colors were prefect for the Scenic Route rub on! This is just so soothing! Perfect for the springlike day we are having!

Rainy Rainy Day

Yup it's another rainy rainy day here! Which is either good or bad depending on how you look at it. For me it's soothing and relaxing when it's like this just rainy, no thunder, wind or lightening. Perfect day to stay inside and get things done!

Our weekend was super nice Dave and the kids went bowling and I was gone to a crop all day Saturday. Then Sunday Em had to go to a party at the Gymnastics place and came home in time for her Sisters B-day party here! Which was wonderful!

Here is my card for the card Challenge over at Card-A-Bility. I used Imaginisce & October Afternoon Papers, a couple of punches by Martha Stewart, rub ons by Doodlebug. Lots and lots of Stickles, some rhinestone flowers and dimensional adhesive.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!!!

My baby is 6 today to be exact at 7:06pm. It doesn't seem like it's been 6 years!!!!! She's so EXCITED she can't even stand it! They are currently out getting Burger King for her Birthday Dinner and we have cupcakes for later! Woo Hoo! She gets an actual party this weekend but for today I'll just say!
