Em had a call back for an Audition bright and early at 7:30 am this morning.  We all went and Dave and Abbi and I walked around the park while we waited.  Lots of cool pics here are a few.

Afterwards we went to IHOP for breakfast.  YUMMY.

Tank & Diesel

Can you tell what author the person that named these 2 Guinea Hogs reads?  I know lots of you can!    This is not how I picture Tank or Diesel I'm not sure they would be Stephanie Plums type if they truely looked like this?

Yesterday Taylor Turned 1

At a little Zoo South of us!  We had a great time at the party and the zoo!  Cheryl and the girls made an awesome cake!

Afterwards the girls went to a friends and Dave and I went out for a Movie and Dinner!

Efforts from Baking

All of the Zucchini Bread and muffins, from my giant farmers market zucchini,  minus a loaf and anything the kids have been eating all day.  I totally ran out of pans so I started making odd shaped breads.   Oh well still tastes the same.  I froze 2 more cups of shredded Zucchini I couldn't dirty anymore dishes.

Recipe is as follows I think it's call Hoosier Zucchini Bread which is appropriate for me:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups grated zucchini
1 cup chopped walnuts(the kids don't like these so I don't add them)

Grease  two 8 x 4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well. Stir in zucchini  until well combined.  Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.
For muffins bake 25min.

Craft Fancy Paint Challenge

Craft Fancy has started a bi-weekly challenge.  The first weeks challenge ws paint.  Here I've sponged my background cardstock with some blue and green Clauding Helmuth paints.  I also swiped some CH paint in reds and oranges on a spare piece of cardstock, which I pieced the bottom detail on my dressform and the flower on the waist.  The stamps are CH and pieced not only with my painted papers but also some patterned paper.  I scored the Tim Holtz blue cardstock and sanded it, added ribbon, a stamp and foam tape of course.

The store is offering a gift card for a prize this first week.  Hope everyone has fun playing along!

Farmers Market
