Mini Cloud Stencil on Acetate - Smile Today

Good Morning,  Happy Thursday everyone.  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today and I have a semi-Happy household since school is almost out and the countdown has begun.  The "Semi" is because there are still some Finals to be taken but otherwise we are in the home stretch.

For you today I have a fun technique using paste and a stencil on an acetate card.   I love the affect achieved with the Mini Cloud Stencil 88603 and some white embossing paste.  The inside of the card has the Medium Forest Archway 99159 along with A Lovely Smile Open Studio 30012 as well as an Open Studio Stamp Hello CL5150 - Today stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black by Imagine Crafts.    The patterned papers are by Memory Box along with some black and brown cardstock and of course the clear acetate card.
Thank you all for taking time out of your busy days to check out the blog.   Be sure to take a look at the latest Memory Box Look Book with amazing samples from the current release as well as all of the blog posts of wonderful inspiration.  Have a GREAT DAY!

SOAR - Memory Box Stamps

Good Morning,  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog  today with a mostly stamped card.  I fell in love with the Windswept CS202J stamp as soon as I saw it.  I love the idea of using it for ever season and time of day.  Of course this may be because I'm from the Windy City?  Who knows?   Here I stamped it in Green and misted the entire background in blue.  For the letters I stamped the Pensive Alphabet CS2212J stamp in brown  and cut out the letters for my greeting.   Finally the bird was cut from red cardstock using the new Birds of a Feather 30045 Open Studio set.   I did go back and add some Stickles dots to some of the leaves to give a bit of sparkle and dimension it looked flat without it.  I do love how it turned out.
Thank you so much for stopping by today for tons more inspiring ideas check out  The new Memory Box Look Book it has so many amazing samples from the latest release you really really don't want to miss it!

English Rose

Good Morning!  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today and I have a very elegant clean and simple card for you today using the English Rose Bouquet 99139.  Here I've used it two ways first I embossed it into the Ivory Cardstock and second I cut it out of Gold Mirror Card and foam taped it over and offset just a bit.  It is very simple but very elegant especially when matted with more Gold Mirror Card.
I adore how the Gold enhances the embossing in the leaves they really stand out.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Hope you have an Amazing Day!

Fogive the terrible picture but really I was laughing!  Dave and Mike singing Let It Go with all of the girls at the Karaoke.  I was checking people in the door and had to run across the venue to get the photo so I'm glad I have at least one!

Scraped Paint Poppies

Good Morning, I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today!  Spring is here and with all of the rain comes the lush green of everything bursting into bloom.  Today I have recreated that in a card.  The Row of Poppies 99137 was cut from white cardstock and colored with Distress Inks.  I then used the negative of the Poppies to stencil a shadow and added some texture with the Scraped Paint Stencil 88584 and some random inking.  Once everything was complete and the Poppies were added to the mat on the card I used some Viva Decor Gel to create the dots or stamen.
This has turned out to be one of my favorites as of late.  I will be teaching this technique and 3 others in my Die Cut Discovery Class at CraftFancy on May 21st.

Hope your having a Wonderful Day and staying dry.
