Berry Nice

It seems like it's been the longest week ever. I know it's just because I had kids home with me for 4 days straight. Today finally I had some time to myself no running no deadlines screaming fighting or whining for at least a couple of hours! Phew! I needed 2 hrs of silence! So I got to relax a bit making some thank you cards. Love these Strawberry stamps by justjohanna. The carriage and the cupcake are adorable. And just fun to color. I know you can't see it here but they are colored with the Glaze pens so they look embossed! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Presidents Day

The girlies are excited to be home! We're sitting here with a garage full of GS cookies waiting for people to come get them just hanging out. Later Em is headed to the movies. We are SOOOOO boring but really it's cold and icey outside and there is nothing to really do!

Today is the Linnecards feature Rusty Pickle. I used Pirate Princess(she has it on sale!!!) on this card. Along with justjohanna stamps, some stickles and my cricut. Check out the other cards in the Gallery today.

Stay warm!

Hope Your V-Day Was Wonderful

We did! The girls were so excited about their parties at School they were wired and comparing and checking out cards and candies from their friends and teachers was just as fun! Em made Dave and I adorable hearts and Abs made us a picture frame for the fridge with her cute self init. I made dinner which was fun Dianne and I made a pilgrimage to Fresh Market for lots of yummy stuff like crab cakes and stuffed steaks, french vanilla pound cake, sushi etc. etc. Yesterday was a very yummy day! I made bruschetta and fresh whipped cream for the dessert it was very yummy however we were all stuffed Dave so much so he had to sleep after the girls went to bed at 8:30 he went to bed. He said he wasn't going to sleep because and I quote "this isn't my sleeping postion" here on top of the new duvet with the bed made. When I went to bed at midnight he was still in that position and as far as I know he didn't move! HA I should have taken his picture in is non-sleeping position! So everyone liked their gifts. Dave really liked the Guiness bucket full of snow and beers to make his Black and Tans and such. The girls loved their Littlest Petshop stuff!

Anyhoo here are some more cards from my collection of projects last month. The stamps are all justjohanna papers are Bo-Bunny on the top card and Sweetwater on the bottom one.
So I'm still trying to scan and post all my challenge layouts over at linnecards. This one we were supposed to pick out a crayon from our box and make a layout monochromatic using that color. Our crayons unfortunately are no longer in boxes but buckets and all over the place so I had the Family choose the color! Here they are at the farm playing on the make believe stuff. Papers are Cloud 9 Design embossed and glittered paper YUMMY and Sweetwater, stickers are American Crafts and Fontwerks. That arrow brad is Around the Block. I used a Stampin Up template for the scallop and my Uniball Signo and black pens.
So that's about it Dave is taking the girls to the Daddy/Daughter Dance so I'm going to enjoy peace and quiet for a bit! We're also planning on going out this weekend to see a show we have girl scout cookie pick up then I have to organize them all so the brownies can come to pick them up and Em has a b-day party to see Spiderwick. Oh and I need to go shopping for a new Vaccum cleaner yet again. As usual we're full up!

Sending some Love

Are you ready for Valentines? I am soooooo NOT. But I thought I would send some love your way! All stamps are justjohanna! Have a happy day!

Phew what a couple of weeks!

What can I say? Snow more snow kids home from school no reason to actually go out and about then the catch up started. Snow hill complete with shoots for different types of sleds created. Then more snow dumped on top. Now we're looking at fridgedness. So tonight we had Pizza and movies and such!

I need one full week without kids home so I can get all my chores and such done some I'm crossing my fingers this is the week! Before the Pres. Day Holiday the following week! 1 week that's all I ask!

I got PSE6 last week and have been playing around this is my first ever digi layout and any type of photoshop. It's not the most wonderful but for a first try it's fun! The pic of Dave and Abbi her first time down the big sledding hill over at TJ. Later in the day Dave went flying half way down off his sled landing on his face! HA I have some great action shots of that I can't wait to play with! The kit is the Bold kit by Betsy Tuma at Plain Digital Wrapper.
The Feb/March issue of ReadySetCreate came out on the 1st and it's amazing! So stuffed full of ideas you'll drool on your screen!
And this week is Doodling over at Linnecards. The word Easter is a stamp by Imaginisce then I mimiced the doodle look on the stamp around the layers! Check out the rest of the gallery!
