Fab 5 Holiday Cards - Day 3

Supplies Used - Lawn Fawn Paper & Stamps, Momento Ink Pad and marker, Copic Markers, Stickles and Foam Tape.
Stamp the Owl on Neenah white cardstock, along with the words and the thought bubble.

Color owl eyes and belly with R22
Color the rest of the owl with R27

Add shadows with R29 and then go back and soften the shadows with R27.
I love YR18 for the beak.
 Color scarf with G24
 Add shadows with G28
Soften the shadows with the G24
Cut out the owl and the thought bubble then use the black Moment marker to go around white edges.  Remember to hold the marker from the bottom so as not to ruin all your lovely work.
On the cardstock stamp the owl(we cut off his toes and fringe on his scarf above this will prevent us from having to draw them in) and trail of bubbles.  Then foam tape the owl and thought bubble onto the cardsotck.
Once the card is complete add lots of Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes on the cardstock.   Your card will really sparkle.

Today was work and Christmas tree decorating.  We had pizza for dinner YIPPY thank you Vinnie's!  The kids are back to school tomorrow.   Phew...

Fab 5 Holiday Cards - Day 1

Starting this series with a little resist technique.  Love love this Snowy Pine Landscape by Memory Box.
 Supplies Used.
New in the store is Eclipse Tape got to use mine for this card.  Soooooo Excited!
After Stamping the image and masking it off I added some resist with a Clear Glaze Pen.   I then brayered on Iced Spruce Distress ink by making an ink pallet on the craft sheet.   I did use a sponge to pick up the remaining color on my craft sheet.
I wiped away any remaining ink with a dry paper towel.  Then stamped my words from a Stampin Up Set called Hand Penned Holidays.
Once that was done I cut down the image and embossed a card front with the Polka Dots Embossing folder.  I attached the image to the embossed piece with foam tape and adhered it all to the card.  I then added ribbon.

Love how it turned out.  Crisp and clean.

Supplies Used:  Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Thankful Silhouettes,  Distress Ink, Versamark, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun,  Sponges,  Piercing Tool not pictured Brown Twine.

This is a simple card.  First stamp fall words in Versamark on Ivory Cardstock.  Then sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Set.
Once cool start adding Distress ink with the sponges lightest to darkest.  Here we started with Mustard Seed.
Then we did Peeled Paint and Rusty Hinge.
Lastly Spiced Marmalade and Gathered Twigs.
On a smaller sheet of ivory paper stamp wheat sheathe in Scattered Straw.  Trim wheat image down ink edges and mount.
Trim down the fall words, ink edges and mount.
I used this super cool dental floss Paula(SIL) gave me to pull the twine through a small hole made on either side of the sheathe see below.  I then tied a bow.

Lastly I added some foam tape and mounted the wheat sheathe onto the card.

Sorry for forgetting the Canvas Corp twine in the supply picture.

We had scrapping last night at Dianne's.  It was a very pleasant evening and I got some tags done for the C.A.R.S. swap tomorrow.  On my way home I was alarmed to see Christmas lights on a house.  I'm not done with my fall/Thanksgiving cards and I'm seeing Christmas lights, UGH.

Ok so tomorrow is the end of the series which was kind of fun.  I will start showing peaks of upcoming classes after that.   I want to get some done before the Craft Fancy Holiday Make & Take event this Saturday.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a Great Thursday.
