Love My Snow Boots - Scrappy Saturday

OH totally one of my favorite Abbi Memories.  She was obsessed with her snow boots.  She wore them all the time.  These pictures were taken in the middle of summer after she got out of the pool.  But she had to wear the snow boots.  I sometimes tried to hide them from her when I knew they would just be too hot.  But how can you resist that face they make her so Happy! 

This layout was fun and used more scraps and some Washy Tape with doodling.   I was on a green kick for a bit here.  I did do some versamark stamping to give interest the plain cardstock.  I also used my most favorite KI Memories acrylic letters and shapes... I've been hoarding these for years.

We (heart) Fall - Scrappy Saturday

Still on my Basic Grey kick as  you can see.  I've been digging back into favorite past papers to make up my kits and loving every minute of it.  The pumpkin patch is one of my favorite things!  The year in these pics we went with Friends/Neighbors and had a blast with the Hay Ride and Haunted  House etc.  I do love the little banner with the word Fall from tiny alphabet stickers and anything with arrows.....

The oranges and yellows in this paper is perfect for these pictures!   So happy how it turned out!

Sandpipers - Scrapbook Saturday(Flashback)

This layout I love it's a circle which I thought was really cool at the time.  However I insisted on adding those points all around the edge of the already 12 x 12 circle.  It's brilliant right?  NO it doesn't fit into a page protector(DUH brain fart moment).  The photos of the girls playing on the beach (Lake Michigan, MI side) are awesome though.  They were so little and still liked each other, total Besties then.

The paper are all Basic Grey(oh how I miss this company).  I just cut out the flowers and used hem as an element.  I added rub ons for a title and subtitle and the white doodles were done by hand.

That Face - Scrapbook Saturday

Still working on my photographing of layout skill.  It kinda sucks doesn't it!  I have no idea how everyone does it Uggghh....  Anyway I love this layout!  It's just a picture of Abbi being goofy and adorable.  The picture was my current favorite when I put this together!  I had fun finding little things to fill in the space here.  The hearts are all punched from scraps.  I took a couple of nights in front of the TV with smaller scraps and punched them with various punches to use up he paper.  Then I added them to my embellishment box.  It's a great way to use up scraps and have a ton of embellishments for fillers.

Pantone Color 2018

I am in Love!  I like purple my craft room is a pale lavender but usually not unless it is mixed with enough blue!  This purple/violet is lovely though.  The darkest shade matches Abbi's walls in her bedroom.  She will be so happy to see more items come out in this color! 

Now lets see how this inspires fashion, home goods and everything else over the year it should be exciting!
