Wow Where has Time Gone

June is over and I don't think I've been here once. Quick Recap!

Dave car accident(dog running onto a major road)! No one was hurt no car for awhile though. Girl Scout Camp Out-Girls had a great time! Facial new product to help get my adult acne under control(yeah right)! Dave gone to Mississippi for an Event has a great time minus the Chiggers! Em sick for the next 2 weeks of summer vacation. Ab's was able to just get a touch of the summer cold and be done. Dentist appts out of the way. Gabbi coming every Thur. Fathers Day at the Claddaugh great fun! Stamp camp lots of fun got to see Ana and give her lots of adorable baby girl clothes! Oh the little pink dress with brown polk-a-dots I found almost made me want another one then my two girls came in dirty and screaming! I'm good for now! Phew!A Trip Downtown to American Girl for Emily's Big Girl Doll! She picked blond, blue eyes(they don't have grey) and earrings! Then to Ed Debevics for lunch! The kiddos got a kick out of it. Birthday presents start arriving in the mail! Em goes to a Scooby Doo party for her friend Julia. With a real live Scooby Doo handing out goodies! Randi has joined scrapbooking on Wed. She's knitting of course but it's fun to sit and chat! Cold Hot Cold Rain Rain Hot Hot Hot going to the big pool more rain at the pool then an ICKY in the water haven't been back yet! It's been cool since! School supply shopping done! Started cleaning up the back flower beds. Ana has come back to scrapbooking in between baby feedings! Monitor dies no computer for a couple of days! BIG rush Formal Invitation work! Dianne(stamper extrordinaire) & Randi(techie guru)were a Giant help even if I am running a sweatshop(HA)! Jen picked up the invites last night all sealed and labeled(the mail merge queen RANDI figured out how to print) them they're ready to be mailed! The invite is a take off on a wedding invite I did years and years ago that Jen saw and liked! You have to imagine them in Red Envies with Black lining they looked really great walking out my door!

That brings us to today! Matthew's graduation party is happening! Just made some Broccoli Salad for that! Emily's family b-day party is tomorrow working on getting ready for that! Making BBQ Ribs in the crock pot can't wait! Love love that stuff. Em want's a Coconut cake! No the kind of coconut you eat but Coconut the dog from American Girl I'm just doing his head! So I'll be baking tonight and decorating tomorrow!

So sorry I've been MIA it's just been a bit crazy! But after Sunday Summer Vacation starts for real!

Only 1/2 a Day Left!

Today is the Day Emily is out of school for the Summer! I'm getting a bit excited to have my girlie's both here all day! We can do whatever we want whenever we want! WOO!
I think we'll start next week with some painting they are a little jealous of Aunt Paula and my paintings from Wed. night! And fascinated with all the paint colors! I made a little painting for Emily last night! I'm going to fix it up and give it to her tomorrow! She loves the Eiffel Tower! The other paintings can be viewed at the Schnockers Blog! This is huge 12x20 or so.
And now for some entertainment! Have you met Clark & Michael(not Mike....Michael)! They are funny......HA HA! I'm enjoying a little video time with them as they write their first script! You gotta check it out! You'll enjoy it too I'm sure!

Vintage Photo Challenge

I played along with Nancy's Vintage Photo challenge. Made this ATC (stamp is Poppy Ink).

Today was Field Day at school. Em came home a muddy mess and of course we had more rain today! Not that we don't need it but she was filthy! Tonight the 3 monsters Dave included walked over to the store to get out of my hair for a bit!(mommy was cranky) They came back with a dozen roses! Abbi seemed a bit put out, she came in said "I'm back, we got flowers, I'm going to play in the garage!" very matter of fact all the while stomping through the kitchen on the way out the garage door! I'm not sure what she thought they were doing but I'm guessing she thought they would stop at Starbucks and she would get a Vanilla milk(her very favorite and since she walks that way with me often I'm sure she was thinking it!) She was funny Dave and Em both were a bit annoyed she ruined their little suprise! Oh to be 4 again! Hee Hee! Oh well I have some beautiful flowers to enjoy! And maybe tomorrow I'll take her for a Vanilla Milk!

Speaking of Eye Candy here is a card I made for the gallery kick off. What you can't see is I crimped the base where the stamped mini cupcake(by justjohanna) are to make it look like a cupcake paper. I'm bummed it didn't show in the scan!

Summer is here? I think?

Well today it is the humidity is at 95% and the sun is shining! We've finally found summer I think. Yesterday was rather cool though and rainy so we'll see. I took the girls to the dentist in Northbrook yesterday and can you say Cicada's? I didn't see any but the sound was deffening! It sounded like a hundred mowers going at a time! YIKES! Anyhoo we are putting the pool up for Abbi! She is dying to play in the water! At least it will be up until school is out and we can head over to the big pool!

So where have I been what have I been doing? Lets see I think I mentioned my Mom was coming up. She and Joel drove up this Motor Home! It was really cool! They parked at the grocery store by our house in the very back of the lot, thus the trees. While they where here we shopped and took Em to school did a bit of exploring! I got my new cookbook from B&N Great Food Fast (returned the library's copy! HA) and this Yummy soap from William-Sanoma I've put away my pine sented soap for now! This is so wonderful smelling! We ate at Claim Jumpers again and had the most amazing pot pie! Then the last night they were here we all went to the Weber Grill for dinner I had the halibut OOOOOOHHHH MY! It really was a good food fest weekend since in the begining I slow cooked a ton of short ribs until they were falling off the bone! We had that to nibble on as well! They've taken their foodie ways on the road with them to MN to visit the new baby Jayce. The Momma and new baby need the food I need to go to the gym and stay there for a week or ten!

Wednesday was our Girl Scout Ceremony the girls did a wonderful job! So did Korene organzing our first every school wide event! We are now looking forward to our camping trip next week! Yesterday was the dentist as I said and today is Field Days at school, Randi, Abbi and I went to breakfast and I got my nails done! It's been a busy week to say the least! But next is the last week of school and hopefully everything will calm way down!

Today is my first day on a couple of DT's first assignments for justjohanna have been turned in and our galleries will be updated soon. Here is a sneak peak of a card I sent in for the gallery kick off! This is what it's like around here at the moment bee's everywhere!
