Playful Dolphins

Good Morning Happy Thursday!  Today I am mom to an official 15 year old!  EEEEK when did that happen?   I swear she was just 3 years old and her sister was a baby.  Time flies while your running around that is for sure!

I'm bringing you a fun ocean card on the Memory Box Blog today.  First I created the background with Distress Inks then added the Diving Dolphins 99134 and Sketchy Circles 99149 to create their splashes.  The Dolphin is water color paper colored with Distress Ink and shimmered.  The Breezy Waves 99164 finish off the scene along with some strategic Stickles and sequin usage.  The gingham patterned paper is Memory Box as well.  I've added a little twine at the top of the card to add a bit more nautical.

Hope everyone is having an Amazing Summer!  Thanks so much for stopping by!   Be sure to check back daily for tons more amazing inspiration.

Bearly 4th Of July

It is "Bearly" time for 4th of July but it's coming up QUICK so here is a fun 4th card.

The Stripes are done with a Memory Box stencil(Texture Shine) and Distress Ink.  All of the stamps are LawnFawn.  The Bear is from the new Party Animal set and colored with Copic.  The other sets used are Hats Off To You, So Much to Say, Critters Ever After, Teeny Tiny Backdrops, and the Puffy Star Stackables die set.
I used a bit of Glaze on the words and the stars in his hat.  Also I added just a smidgen of glitter on his hat.  He is after all a dancing bear and this is a special occasion.  There are a few sequins as well.

You Make Me Smile

Good Morning I'm over at the Memory Box Blog Today!  Summer has begun and we are in full swing summer activities.   As are the little foxes on our card today.  I've colored Samuel Fox CS2032C and Patient Benjamin Fox CS2035C with Copic Markers and added the background by airbrushing over  the positive and negative of the Solid Arch Background 98992 this is one of my favorites for doing hills.  The first part of the greeting is stamped with the Open Studio Stamp set Smile CL5152 which works with A Lovely Smile die 30012 and is how we have the block letters for SMILE.  The little butterflies come from Butterfly Delights 98130
I love how the cute little foxes turned out.  They pop off the page with the airbrushing.  Hope you like it.

Have a wonderful day and don't forget the Memory Box Butterfly challenge all of the details can be found HERE so you can join in and win some Awesome Prizes.

Pure Imagination - Last Intern Card

This was the last card created for the Choir Intern that chose the sone Pure Imagination.  Emily had a solo during this song so that makes it even more Special to all of us.  I had to glitter all of the candy because well candy must be glittered so it looks like sugar lots and lots of sugar.  The dies and papers are all Memory Box the rub ons are Doodlebug.    I was honored to create these cards for all of the interns plus I had a great time.

Gwendolyn Bluebird

Good Morning I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today with a Copic Colored Card

Only 1 more day of school for my little one!  Can you tell we are counting down around here?  It's our last couple of days in grade school and we are sad and excited all at the same time.  We needed a little reminder to not forget to smile.  So here we go.

I stamped the Gwendolyn Bird CS2036E with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copics turning her into a Blue Bird.   Then it was masked off and I stamped the Windswept CS2202J with Memento Bamboo Leaves followed with airbrushing the background green. This is layered onto a round piece of Mango Distressed Dots and a Stitched Scalloped Circles 30047.  This entire piece was layered onto Bluebird Distressed Dots which is stamped with the greeting "don't forget to" is from the Smile clear stamp set CL5152 and the Smile die cut is from A Lovely Smile 30012 which coordinates with the stamp set (can I tell you these coordinating stamps and dies are AMAZING!).
I hope your having a lovely week!  Be sure to check back for more Wonderful Ideas using Memory Box Stamps and Dies.  Don't forget there is a new June Monthly Challenge going this month the theme is Butterflies, you can win some cool products just by sharing your Fun Projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mini Suitcase with a Travel Album

Here is a fun Mini Album/Box I have created.  I was so excited that Emily went to NY in February to sing at Carnegie Hall all I could think about was doing a travel album.   It was her first time away from home without us.  But I would have loved seeing her sing at such an amazing venue.  She felt very grown up going on her own though, well there were chaperone's of course, I'm not crazy!  Plus I stalked them online the entire time they were there.

The paper from Simple Stories Say Cheese was perfect for this.

This is just a sampling of some of the pages.  I used some wood cameras and tags.  Plus I love making pockets.
The doilies are from Doodlebug.
The entire album fits into this little suitcase box!  PERFECT!
Plush there is lots of room to add more pages and or tons of pictures and memorbilia.
Hope you like my littel project!  I had a blast creating it.  I'm beginning work on the big ablums with pictures from Carnegie Hall.  Can't wait to share.

Have a wonderful day!

Bright Fluttering Butterflies

Good Thursday Morning, I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today.  It is finally beautiful here!  The rain has stopped at least for the past couple of days and the Sun has been shining!  It's finally time to think about summer.  Finals are finishing up this week for the kids and school will be out soon!  Those darn snow days caused some make up days but we can see the end now.

I've been coloring with my Copics a lot lately and I have a card to share.  I adore this stamp Fluttering CS2210G.  I've water colored it awhile back but the entire time I thought it would be cool with Copics.   So here goes.  I've also used the stamp set Smile CL512 that goes with the Open Studio die set A Lovely Smile 30012.
The butterflies are of course colored with the markers the background is airbrushed.  I did use the Merry Go Round stencil 88602 with the airbrush as well to add a bit more movement and color.  The papers are Memory Box except the Neenah Solar White that is colored.  I love how bright and Happy it turned out!  It so makes me Smile!  I hope it makes you Smile too!
Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a Wonderful day!

Best Day of My Life - Choir Intern Card

Good Morning I'm back with another Choir Intern card.  This graduating Senior chose the song Best Day Of My Life by the American Authors.  Whic is a really fun song I took some of the lyrics and created this card using mostly Memory Box Dies and rub ons as well as some glitter of course.

The dies I've used are as follows Dream Cloud, Breezy Clouds Detail Plate, Puffy Clouds, Cosmic Star Set(retired).  It's hard to see the swishy embossing from the detail plate but it looks really cool in real life.

I have one more of these cards coming soon so be sure to check back in a couple of days.  Have a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping by.

Cerf-Volant

Good Morning this card was created for a Senior Choir Intern.   She chose the song Cerf-Volant for the Treble Choir to sing this year at the final concert of the year.  Cerf-volant is to fly a kite and it is a truely beautiful song.  I created a card for each of the Interns(all Seniors graduating) the others will follow.

Hard to see on this card lots of glitter around all of the clouds and the sun as well as the kite strings.  I airbrushed the background and colored everything with Copic Markers the stamps are all Lawn Fawn the Teeny Tiny Backdrops for the music notes and Sunny Skies for everything else.

I had a lot of fun coloring this card and of course using the airbrush I would airbrush everything if I could!

Have a wonderful day!   Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly Cards gotta Love them!

Good Morning!  I so love creating Butterfly cards and Memory Box makes that so easy with all of the Butterfly dies we've had over the years.
Here is a fun set using all paper, dies and stencils from Memory Box.  Some old some new.
Just fun to get a chance to use them all!  Some of these cards were created last year at this time.
Hope these projects put a smile on your face today!  Happy Monday and the first day of June!
