You Make Me Smile

Good Morning I'm over at the Memory Box Blog Today!  Summer has begun and we are in full swing summer activities.   As are the little foxes on our card today.  I've colored Samuel Fox CS2032C and Patient Benjamin Fox CS2035C with Copic Markers and added the background by airbrushing over  the positive and negative of the Solid Arch Background 98992 this is one of my favorites for doing hills.  The first part of the greeting is stamped with the Open Studio Stamp set Smile CL5152 which works with A Lovely Smile die 30012 and is how we have the block letters for SMILE.  The little butterflies come from Butterfly Delights 98130
I love how the cute little foxes turned out.  They pop off the page with the airbrushing.  Hope you like it.

Have a wonderful day and don't forget the Memory Box Butterfly challenge all of the details can be found HERE so you can join in and win some Awesome Prizes.

Bright Fluttering Butterflies

Good Thursday Morning, I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today.  It is finally beautiful here!  The rain has stopped at least for the past couple of days and the Sun has been shining!  It's finally time to think about summer.  Finals are finishing up this week for the kids and school will be out soon!  Those darn snow days caused some make up days but we can see the end now.

I've been coloring with my Copics a lot lately and I have a card to share.  I adore this stamp Fluttering CS2210G.  I've water colored it awhile back but the entire time I thought it would be cool with Copics.   So here goes.  I've also used the stamp set Smile CL512 that goes with the Open Studio die set A Lovely Smile 30012.
The butterflies are of course colored with the markers the background is airbrushed.  I did use the Merry Go Round stencil 88602 with the airbrush as well to add a bit more movement and color.  The papers are Memory Box except the Neenah Solar White that is colored.  I love how bright and Happy it turned out!  It so makes me Smile!  I hope it makes you Smile too!
Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a Wonderful day!

Cerf-Volant

Good Morning this card was created for a Senior Choir Intern.   She chose the song Cerf-Volant for the Treble Choir to sing this year at the final concert of the year.  Cerf-volant is to fly a kite and it is a truely beautiful song.  I created a card for each of the Interns(all Seniors graduating) the others will follow.

Hard to see on this card lots of glitter around all of the clouds and the sun as well as the kite strings.  I airbrushed the background and colored everything with Copic Markers the stamps are all Lawn Fawn the Teeny Tiny Backdrops for the music notes and Sunny Skies for everything else.

I had a lot of fun coloring this card and of course using the airbrush I would airbrush everything if I could!

Have a wonderful day!   Thanks for stopping by!

Natures Joy Pinecone Frame - Memory Box!

Good Morning,  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today using the Pinecone Frame Die and a little Snow and a little tutorial here.
Today we are going to use the New Pinecone Frame - 98971 as a Stencil and airbrush the color in.  First die cut the frame out of a heavy weight cardstock.

Next add some temporary adhesive too the back of the pieces.
I first added the frame with the branch to a blank sheet of paper.  Colors used for the sky are Copic BG90 and BG93.
 Here is the finished sky.
Now add the pinecone piece to the background lining it up with the branch.  Airbrush Copic E43, E44 and E47
I didn't cover the entire pinecone with the each color but from the tips light to dark.  Also airbrush the frame around the piece.
The finished pinecones before I peel up the stencil.
Now use a stylus and the Copic Opaque White to add snow to the points of the pinecones
I have  also added snowy dots as well as the Pine Needle Border 98467.  Nature was cut with Script Lowercase Alphabet 98896 and Joy out of Urban Uppercase Alphabet 98881 both out of Gold Mirror Card.  The entire piece is glued to an Ivory Card Front.
