Very Off Topic - But Time Saving

So I realized this isn't what this blog is about but finally found a floor cleaner that is easy to make, easy to use and makes my floors look fabulous.  It will give me more time for my paper stuff and no more scrubbing the floors 3 or 4 times to get rid of weird soap films.  I tell am so excited.

And you know I found this on Pinterest but it originally came from the blog Natures Nurture and the post can be found HERE!  Next I'm going to check out the freezing of fresh fruit ie. lemon juice and zest.

Ok that's my PSA for the day I'm off to finish my floors!   Have a great day!

Pretty Card Gift Set

Emily's favorite teacher is stopping by school today for a Pizza Lunch with some of her students.
(she recently had a terrible tragedy in her life and is taking the rest of the year off thanks to the other generous teachers that gave up some of their vacation time to her.)  Emily made chocolate chip cookies and asked me to make her a gift to Thank her for the year.   So I thought long and hard and decided something simple might be best.  So here is what I came up with.  A set of blank note cards using the Memory Box Roses embossed in clear on Baja Breeze cardstock.  I also used Baja Breeze ink to stamp the envelope and the inside of the card.  The ribbon is some of my white seem binding.
There are 8 cards total.  I just put them in a cello bag and tied them with a large white satin ribbon.  Emily wrote a thank you card to her.

Thanks for stopping by hope everyone has a lovely Friday!

Phew creating for me again

I feel like I've been doing nothing but class samples forever now.  I know it's not true but that's how it feels sometimes.  So I deliberately made something of mine for my Etsy shop.  And I had fun doing it!  Can't beat that!

WOYWW 153 - Messy Messy

It's Wednesday Again!   EEEK! Julia over at the Stamping Ground hosts Whats On Your Work desk Wednesday. I'm having a great time visiting all of the participants blogs it's very inspiring. So why not hop on over and check out what everyone else is working on and maybe add your own workspace to the list!

As you can see my desk is covered in a huge mess.  It started like this I wanted to continue making reference sheets of all my dies so I pulled them out and realized I had no way of knowing which ones I have already referenced.  So I went back to my binder and compared and added blue dots to those already in the book, ok...  Then I needed to look for a photo for a layout I thought I might do as I was working(I have not started a layout just so you know).  As I was looking for stuff I found this basket that was kind of a catch all for not knowing what to do with something so I started looking through that left that sitting precariously on top of the rest of the mess.  ARGHHH this is how it starts as I'm sure you all know.  Since this weekend I have not made it in the room to work, as this week is the busiest for school and extra outside activities end of year stuff.  So my intention tonight after we get home from the last Band Concert is to clean this up so I might be able to work here again!  HA  I have 2 classes to prep on Friday I must get it in some working order.

Hope everyone is having a Happy Wednesday.  And thank you everyone for stopping by and looking and even commenting I really appreciate you taking time out of your days.

Vintagey Peek

WOYWW #152 - Happy Happy Wednesday

I almost forgot it was Wednesday... So I'm late today!  Julia over at the Stamping Ground hosts Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  I'm having a great time visiting all of the participants blogs it's very inspiring.  So why not hop on over and check out what everyone else is working on and maybe add your own workspace to the list!

I have been having a wonderful morning getting chores done and then playing.  I'm currently putting together my Vintage class using the Kraft Graphic 45.  So you can see some Spellbinders die cuts, Distress Inks,  a half done card, my Ranger Distressing Tool, a stack of other dies and pile of junk(LOL) off to the right.  Hopefully I'll finish this up before work tomorrow night.

Tonight we get to head to the School for the girls Open House and see what's on their desks and what they've been working on.  We're very excited it's always fun and they love showing us around.

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday.  Thank you so much for stopping by!
