A little hint from Fabulous Folds

 A couple of the cards I will be teaching in my Fabulous Folds Class @CraftFancy on May 30th.  We have a few spots left in the evening class so be sure to call the store to sign up by the 29th.

Clean & Simple Masculine Cards.  This is a class I'm teaching @CraftFancy in Arlington Heights today and again on June 6th.  These are just in time for Fathers Day.  

 

My Beautiful Dancer

 Emily's Dance Recital was yesterday!  She did an amazing Job!  We had wonderful guests with us and a lovely day!  We are so proud of our Beautiful Daughter doing something she loves and it shows!

Koi Tattoo - Love this stamp!

I'm having fun experimenting with my new Koi Tattoo Stamp set from Bombshell Stamps.  Here I embossed it in gold on a handmade mulberry paper which I tore out around the fish.  I added some gold flowers and added them to a background on pearl made with some alcohol ink.  I added Paper Cord as an embellishment behind the fish.

Mahalo! - May Sketch Challenge - Bombshell

My entry for the May Sketch Challenge over at Bombshell Stamps!  I love this Hawaiian Girl Stamp Set, she is a new one for me and I had a great time coloring her with my Copics!  She looks like she just stepped out of an Elvis Movie.

So Excited to be Ms. May for Bombshell - My Challenge

 I'm so excited to be Ms. May over at Bombshell this month!!!  I've created this fun and fresh color/texture inspiration challenge for everyone to play around with.  From this you can take the color scheme, the patterns, the textures, the items or all of the above!  Make sure to have fun with it, that is most important!

Colors - Grey & Jade, Gold, Silver White
Textures - Dry Embossing, Scrolls, Scallops, Satin Ribbons, Metallic Glitter Etc

 Here is my challenge card for May. I was inspired by the colors and texture and used the flower to recreate the fancy Japanese paper with some embossing powder, copics by airbrushing color onto my background paper. The butterfly was embossed colored and cut out.
