An Absolutely Awesome Christmas Eve Gift

Ok every year on Christmas Eve I give my family new PJ's.  I try to make them coordinate etc.  I blame my  Mom for the coordinating thing!  She's knows she did it to us.  Anyway every year the pj's I buy don't fit and are usually toooooo big, mostly because the girls are just so stinkin tiny in the waist I have a hard time finding things that fit them and look cute.  So this year I gave up the coordinating thing and went for things that are their favorites. On ETSY I found the above pair of PJ's for Abbi my little dancer and asked Angie at meandmydoll to create a pair with bright green, Emily's favorite color!   Angie was amazing to work with even with my wacky requests for not to girly but green and sizing then my special shipping requests.   When the box arrived I was so excited.  I loved these PJ's and they came with matching PJ's for their AG dolls!  How cute is that.  They were excited but wary to open their packages and try them on.  So they came down all cute with matching dolls(I love this I'll be sad when it ends).  In the end they really couldn't complain about the fit they were perfect.  So perfect in fact that the girls didn't change out of them all day on Christmas Day!  It was my first successful Christmas PJ gift since the girls started getting so picky about the way things fit! I'm so ecstatic that they worked out and recommend these to anyone interested in PJ's, t-shirts, headbands etc. MeAndMyDoll.

General Silliness!

Girlies off for 1 more week.  They're having fun hanging out with their friends and playing with all of their new toys!   Dave is at work today but will be home off and on he has more days left to take before the year ends.  He has like 3 more days to do that in!  He cracks me up!

Today I made a giant pot of Beef Stew using leftovers from the holidays, there's bread rising!  And the house is slowly but surly getting cleaned up from the holiday mayhem.  Now if I could just catch up on laundry.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Holidays

Hope everyone had is having an AWESOME HOLIDAY!  We had a wonderful trip to Nashville to visit my family!  Our Christmas with them was so amazing!  Everyone had a great time.  We got back just in time for Christmas Eve.  Without much fuss just a minor delay and a blow out on the highway coming home but by midnight we were tucked in our own beds!  All is well except the tire of course.  Christmas Eve was spent with Dave's family having fun and laughing.  Yesterday we had a great day just the four of us lounging about and enjoying all the presents Santa brought us.  I for one got a new saucepan which I made Crab and Shrimp Bisque in.  Everyone loved it totally YUM-O-Licious with fresh baked bread!  And I didn't ruin Dave's Crab meat by putting it in Mac & Cheese like I planned.

Today we are being snowed in.  So far about 4" of the white fluffy(at least it's not ice)stuff!  Everyone is outside digging out as I type!  Gotta go take photos!  It's all good we made cookies and played more games on the Wii.  We're about to get crafty with some new toys we all got!   WOO HOO!
Hope everyone stays warm and safe this Holiday Season!

Been Snowing All Day!

It has totally been snowing all day.  Although there seems to be less on the ground now than this morning.  I think it's melting and snowing at the same time?  Is that possible? It is supposed to snow all night long.   Dianne mentioned we may have to have our furry friends pull us to work on sleds tomorrow!  HA

So things are good here.  My class last night was great today was more cleaning and organizing.  Tonight is my last dance class for the year.  Sad but it's good it gets harder around the holidays.  I've added more stuff to the Etsy store.  I have tons more to add this week to mine and Horsefeathersupply.  I've been putting off editing photos until I can wait no longer.  EEEK

The pic is my 2010 photo Calendar I'll be teaching this class at the store.  Love how it turned out.  and the colors!

Have a great day!

Monday Morning Musings

Card uses Bazzill Cardstock, Amuse patterned paper, Creative Imaginations Creative Cafe patterned paper and buttons, Hero Arts Stamps, Maya Rd. Ribbon, and Glue Dots.
We woke up to freezing temps and snow on the ground. Good thing we bought new snow pants over the weekend, although both girls took their old ones to school today. Got new phones over the weekend. Set the Go To School alarm for PM so we were a tad late. Always freaks me out to be late.

I made fudge last night and today I'm going to make some sort of Christmas Cookie.  Gotta get these started so I won't be doing it last minute.  So tonight is my technique class and that's about it for today.  Well besides Laundry and cleaning and Christmas Present wrapping.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday!

Tonight is the Celebration of Lights the girls are excited.   We're finishing up the Christmas Decorations today.  Em is doing her toenails in Christmas patterns so those will be decorated(it's so important).  Off to get new phones as well.  I think that's about it a Saturday of errands and things to do.  I got the Christmas photo edited need to have it printed off and all of that is good to go!
The tags above I created for my store although they are really cute!  I might need to make myself a set?  I'm still working on all of the handmade gifts I'm doing!  I have 2 weeks I keep telling myself I have 2 weeks.  Really time is dwindling quickly though!
Gotta go make some Tamale Pie in the crock pot for dinner so we don't have to worry about it later.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Snow is on the Ground!

Ok it's just a dusting! But there was snow. It's melting sort of. It will be gone by afternoon and no one will ever know it was here! Well my Kids will! They were like FINALLY SNOW! Just working on all of my Holiday gifts this weekend got tons I'm making.

Last night was the C.A.R.S. holiday bash. Those ladies are so inspiring if you could have seen the beautiful hand knitted, decoupaged, stamped, painted, sewn, baked......OMG the gifts were amazing! Very inspiring plus they are just so fun! I'm thankful to them for bringing so much joy to everyone around them!

So this pic is really really really old. I took it the beginning of November when we were taking down the Halloween Decorations Dave used the spider web that goes up our entire banister as his beard. HO HO HO!!! You know it was one of those moments where you are running for the camera and grabbing just to get the shot! Sorry it's so blurry! I couldn't resist though!

Cocoa Holder - Stampin Impression Obsession, Colored with Copics, Cardstock Bazzill, Ribbon Wired Craft Ribbon, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Fiskars hole punch.

It's time to break out the Hot Cocoa. There were snow flurries while I was out dropping off the kiddos this morning. Brrrrrrrr. The kids are dancing this weekend at the Celebration of Lights so that will be exciting. I plan on finishing my holiday decorating just a little more to do and I'm hopefully going to start wrapping presents as well we need to get some things under the tree.

Lots of things happening at work. Besides Techniques I also have a 2010 Calendar class and a Layout class I'm really excited about.

Dave started physical therapy about a week ago. It's already been over a year since the accident and surgery to correct the nerve damage to the left side of his face. The physical therapy really seems to be working. Or maybe it's just in my head?

Mom is hosting the Holidays this year. The girls are so very very excited! Can't wait for Christmas break!

Hope everyone is having a great week!
