Ahhhh we're starting to have a routine. Emily loves going to school. I've signed up to be room mom and help out whenever I can. She has 4 people in her class she already knew so that was good. Made it a whole lot easier probably. Friday we all walked to pick her up and she played with her friends for about 40 minutes that was great fun! Thursday Natasha had a get together during school for all the parents. There were about 10 of us. We sat around and got to know each other.
What else happened last week well lets see my Birthday finally ended Wed. Abbi and I met with Renee L and her daughter for lunch. It was a shorter birthday week than most but I can't complain since I got my present long ago! LOL
Getting ready for CKU I'm so not prepared! Have no idea if I will be by the time I have to leave???? Oh well!
Planning Stamp Camp this month. It will be impromptu! Woo Hoo! I also have an open house at Paulas I'm doing maybe I'll get some work?
Today is a holiday so no school! When Dave gets up(he's sleeping in) I'm going to head to Kohls and a couple of other places to get last minute things for my trip.
Oh and can I mention something curious. Last night Dave and I were scrapping(I love him don't you!) and for about 30 min we heard fireworks off in the distance. Now I don't think I'm crazy and Dave agreed, this time. But since when did we have fireworks for Labor Day? Is this something new? Or are we just so in need of something to do(like there is not enough) that we've created a celebration when we're supposed to relax?
