Spring Surely Stitched Square

Good Morning Lovelies.  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog Today with a fanciful Spring Card.   My dream landscape would be all green grass and lavender skies.  Now however it's mostly grey outside my window so I created this lovely card to share with you using the Surely Stitched Squares 99706 along with the Cottage In The Woods 98536 and Butterfly Delights 98130.  All of the patterned papers are Memory Box as well.  Don't you just love that little house popping out of the Stitched Square sitting on a lush green hill?  The Surely Stitched Square is so versatile I originally got it to make Monogram cards but then started playing with all the other little dies you can put inside, so LOVE this about this die.
That cute little house framed by the Stitched Square.

The little butterflies are so adorable floating around the trees.

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Good Morning!  Almost time for Easter.  I'm getting ready a bit here and a bit there.  We usually have the Easter Dinner here.  I'm hoping this year we have no snow it's not looking good at the moment but we have two weeks so I am hopeful.
This card was created with Doodlebug Papers and a Lori Whitlock file from the Silhouette Store.

Have a Happy Day!

Spring Coastal Tree

Good Morning!  I'm over at the Memory Box Blog with a fun Spring/Easter Card.   Spring Break has begun here and the snow has unfortunately returned.  So we're back to only seeing beautiful green scenes in our projects!  Oh well fun fresh projects equals a happy me!  Today my Spring/Easter card can really be used for anything.  I used the Coastal Tree 99100 and popped it up over the Solid Arch Background 98992 that I have used as the hill.  All of the little flowers are from the Blooming Border 98922 and the bunnies are from the Baby Bunnies set 99105.  All of the patterned papers are Memory Box as well, I have listed them below with links.  I love how the colors all come together to look fresh for Spring.

OMG these are amazing!   I cooked a Pork But all day in the crock pot then seasoned and crisped up the meat after I shredded it!  AMAZING!  Lime and cilantro make it even better!

Fairytale Flowers Shimmer

Good Monday Morning!  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today with a Happy Spring Card.  Spring has finally arrived here in Chicagoland!  WooHoo!  Everyone is so excited.  Only small tell tale piles of snow still hang on, the trees are budding, the air is crisp and fresh and the Sun is shining most of the time.... What more could we ask for?  Maybe some pretty inspiration for you?  I think so!  Today I have the Fairytale Flower Frame 99067 die cut out of white cardstock and colored with Distress Markers, then spritzed with Perfect Pearls.  Can you see the shimmer?  The Itty Bitty Bumble Bees 99028 are flitting about.  Their wings are cut from vellum and glittered with Stickles.  All of this is on a background of Mango Distressed Dot patterned paper.

Bloomington Sunshiny Background

Good Morning I'm over on the Memory Box blog today.  And I'm very excited Spring has finally sprung.  Well the Sub Zero temperatures seem to have ended for now..... I know I'm knocking wood really hard.  But in celebration of the warmer temps and sunshine we've been experiencing I have a sunny card for today using the Bloomington Border 99008.  Here I have cut it 3 times out of white cardstock and colored it with Distress Inks while the die was still on the cut piece.  These colors remind me of Spring.  To pollinate the flowers I've added one of the Itty Bitty Bumblebees 99028 with a bit of Stickles on it's wings.  The entire thing was attached to Key Lime Distressed Dot Patterned Paper.

Birthday's Birthday's Everywhere & A Special Card Kit

We have tons of Birthday's lately it seems.   Sometimes I can dig into my stash and find just the right card for the occasion but since my girls are getting older my stash seems to have more KIDDY stuff left from when they were younger.  I doubt their friends would appreciate the pretty princess cards during the teen years.
I needed something a little more grown up but not so serious.  I figured I was not the only one in this situation so I put together a Card Class Kit available in the store with some Quick & Easy Cards to put together.
Really all you need is some adhesive and foam tape as well as a couple of markers and glitter and you'll end up with these 5 Cute but not TOO Cute cards, perfect for kids and adults alike.
Each kit includes color pictures and step by step instructions.  I only made 9 of them for now, just so you know.
Hope you like it.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a Great Day!

My Baby Turns 12 & Her Sleepover Invite

It's hard to believe my baby is 12 now!  I can't even put it into words, it seems like yesterday when we went to the hospital in a blizzard to have her?   It happened in the blink of an eye.
This year she asked for a sleepover with her closest friends.  Here is the invite we gave out.  They turned out really cute and the little girl looks just like Abbi.

For the party I am surprising her with the theme.  I can't share just yet but I am busy making the decorations and party favors and such in secret.

Hope everyone is enjoying what seems like it might be the last week of Winter......  Can you see my fingers crossed?  Next week we will be in the 40's all week.  Much different from the single digits we've been in.  Stay warm just a little longer!    Thanks for stopping by.

Coffee On The Go

Good Morning!  I'm over on the Memory Box Blog today!  Hope everyone is keeping warm.  We are trying here but the negative temperatures make it difficult.   I'm looking forward to next week we might see some melting of the frozen snow.  In the meantime I'll keep drinking tons of coffee to keep warm, really this is not a hardship for me I love coffee, any excuse!   So today I have a fun coffee card that uses a wax resist/watercolor technique. The watercolor is done with Distress Ink Vintage Photo, a clear crayon and the Bubbles Stencil - 88574.   The coffee is the Coffee On the Go Die - 99110 the beans are from the Coffee Bean Collection - 99120 and the word coffee comes from the Parker Lowercase Alphabet - 98363.
