Travel Journal

Back to Craft Boutique creating!   These beautiful journals are created from Composition Notebooks.  I fell in love with this Map paper and had to add it to the cover.  For the insides of these books were covered with either grid paper or striped papers.  Then the fun travel words were die cut from aqua cardstock using some Tim Holtz Sizzix Dies.  Lastly my obsession with buying all the arrows I see payed off and I found these metal arrows in my stash which I added to the front of each book.  To complete the presentation a satin aqua bow was tied around the journal.

These would make great gifts for the Traveler in your life or if your headed out on your own adventure and you want to document it along the way this would be great!

I am in love a little bit with how these turned out.  That aqua pops on the black and white map and makes me very happy.

Our Craft Show schedule is in the sidebar on this blog so if you can check out where we will be and stop by to see us and all of the wonderful makers at each show!  We look forward to saying hello in person!  Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Sailboat - Little Boy

I was challenged to create a Little Boy Birthday card by a client.  I rarely get the chance as we don't have a lot of little boys in our life.  Mostly big grown boys at this point.  So this card was a lot of fun!  I love the half circle cut out on the front flap of the card.

I do apologize for the funny lighting on this card I'm not sure what happened???
This stamp set from Stampin Up, Toy Box is retired and old, but I never got it when it was out. I just adore the little sail boat in it.  I found it recently at a stamp garage sale so I grabbed it and had to play!   There are also some other cute stamps I can't wait to break out and try.
Thank you for stopping by today to see my little boy card

Say Cheese - Layout

Here they are the most photogenic puppies ever!  HA well Vienna only will accept photos if Gracie is with her otherwise she will turn away from the camera or even just leave the room.  They are just the cutest I love scrapping them because who could resist those faces?
I used up a bunch of my project life pieces for this quick layout1  Thank you for taking a look!  Happy Wednesday!

Making Pretties - Magnetic Clothes Pins

Working through some of the projects in my craft room making pretties for an upcoming Craft Boutique.  I had fun using up some of the 6x6 pads I have collected.  Adding small patterns from 6x6 pads is ideal for small projects and clothes pins are perfect small small projects.

This set uses some of my all time favorite colors Coral and Green.  I do have another set in the works of Blue and Yellow.   To embellish the packaging on this one I created some Tulle flowers.  These are perfect for gift giving or a special something for yourself.

The Craft Show list with all of our upcoming shows can always be found in the sidebar of this blog.  Hopefully you'll be able to stop by and say hi and check out all of the makers at one or more shows this upcoming show season.

Have a great day.

July Swap Card - Washi Tape

It's the CARS Club Day (Chicago Area Rubber Stampers) YAY!  This is my swap card for this month.  I shared a sneak of my frozen lollies on my Instagram about a month ago.  This is the finished product.  I love how it turned out. The challenge for this month was Washi Tape.

I used a scalloped set of Washi  from Ms. Sparkle and Co. Paperie (Pastel Rainbow Scalloped Solid).  Makes it look like a Sherbet Popsicle!   The Popsicle die and the banner die are from MFT and the stamps are Lawn Fawn.  The ink is Hero Arts Watermelon.  The paper is Lawn Fawn Pink Lemonade Fruit Smoothie for most of the cards.  Some is BoBunny double dots.

We create 18 cards total for our Swap group.

My Swap bucket has seen better days but I Love that my cards fit so well in it!  I will use it till it cannot function anymore!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a GREAT DAY!
