Supplies used: Autumn Blueprint by Stampers Anonymous and Tim Holtz, Distress Inks, Momento Ink, Papertrey Ink Stamps, Perfect Plaids by Stampin Up, Water Brush, Canvas Corp Twine, Buttons, cardstock.
Start by masking with post it notes a portion of the front of your card base. Then begin stamping plaid strips from Perfect Plaids. This is an older retired set but as you can see by my reused post it notes I do love making my own plaid paper.
Continue layering colors and directions.
It really looks amazing when you remove the mask and get that crisp line.
Stamp in Rich Cocoa Momento ink onto Ivory Paper the Oak Leaf from the Autumn Blueprint set.
I used the water brush and the Distress Ink to watercolor the leaf. Once it is dry I layered this onto a piece of cardstock mat and popped it onto the card over the plaid. Then I added a small thanks in the bottom right corner and some coordinating buttons with twine in them on the left. Hope you like the first card in the series. Tomorrow we have dry embossing and shimmer watercolor stamping!
Have a Great Monday!
