Snow Snow Snow Snow - BAM Earthquake

It snowed all day yesterday, all night last night and then we apparently had an Earthquake way early this morning.  I remember waking up trying to figure out why the wall was shaking and it was silent outside there weren't any snow plows going to make that happen?  It stopped I gave up and went back to sleep.

So this morning the girls were loving the snow.  It is crisp, sunny and beautiful outside.  All white and sparkley.  No one has run through the yards to make it all messy the plows are working their way down so there isn't a lot of muck in it!  Plus they found it very amusing they could wear their PJ's out in the snow today since it was Pajama Spirit Day at school!  Hopefully they won't freeze too much at recess.  Ok little side comment about Abbi - Shhhhh don't tell her I talked about this.  Today is messy art day and we were instructed to send her in old clothes or a smock or something to cover her good clothes.  So Dave went through his closet and found an old golf shirt he never liked and gave it to her.  I kid  you not that child wore it to bed, it hangs down past her knees, over her pajamas.  She has to button it all the way up to keep it on.  Then she got up this morning and changed into the PJ's she was wearing to school and put it back on over these PJ's.  I told her she could fold it and put it in her bag but she said she was pretending it was a nightgown.   She looked so cute!  No memory card in my camera and we had to run out the door.  BUMMER

So the mini note card above is from a set I put in  my shop.  The papers are Making Memories, Fleur de Lis is EK Success, Other stamps and punches are Stampin Up.  Just a little project to step away from Valentines for the day!  Needed a break from pink for a moment!

Technology really has become one with our daily lives, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further innovates, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about every once in a while.

Love your notecards...And your Abbi story. I can just see her in Dave's shirt!

PS...I slept through the earthquake...missed another one!
